You have the same posts from rural king that I do. LOL
i couldnt not get the 6.5 foot ones when i realized theyre less then $1 more lmao. Less then half the price of home depot too. Wish i had realized they were outside though. I am a male, so i spun in circles inside cussing for a bit before i asked someone, as is tradition.

I gave up and was leaving the parking lot when I spotted them! LOL

I went for fence posts, and almost bought baby chickens instead.

Im def not ready for chickens yet though lol. I think id want to have a hoop house before i brought a bunch of scavenging birds around. Im not doing coup chickens, i dont want to clean up after them lmao.

I also have a Chesapeake retriever, he's a retired bird dog. Idk how well he'd do. I really want chickens again though.

And i'd have my side trellises up, but theyre spinning in circles with the delivery service like every other package that comes up here.

The sides that face direct sun are usually a little more lush. 5.5 hours of mid day sun is plenty enough to work, been doing it here for years. Nothing beats natural sunlight.

I found with not trimming the energy gets dispensed pretty evenly throughout. Its most evident as things fill in with flower later on.

Once the rain quit and I mixed the fresh botanicare in there I can't get over how much growth has gone on in just two days. Granted I poured heaps of worm castings in around the new root balls when I transplanted them.

Could be the roots reached a point when they can also take full advantage of the other soils adds.

Those should be pretty big girls later.

Pic 1&2 are autoflowers 3&4 are runts that I didn’t want to kill. They are in a manure patch no spraying in my corn if they get chewed on so be it. I’m pretty amazed with the autoflowers they are about 6 weeks old now I think not really sure. The bushy runt is exploding I hope she survives they blend in with the corn nicely. Keep posting pics of your plants I love to see them grow I’m just an outdoor gardener these days and I love smoking my buds!!!

Here's mine! First time Southern California grower.
Are those pots actually terracotta and not plastic? I have been considering doing terracotta with mine as was wondering how well that would do keeping the dirt cooler where I live!

Man that brings back some good ol memories. That's the way we did it in the 80's in the corn rows but we still had to bend them over cause man they were 12ft tall some were just monsters. What a trip it was, we never got ripped off either.

I think it’s the year for doing it corn crops are like 5-6 ft but I water the corn when it’s dry I wasn’t going to feed them just water but I always mix 150-180 litres of nutes at a time so once in awhile I’ll feed them why not eh?

Yes, they are Terra cotta, I probably won't use again though because in the beginning I was obsessively moving them in and out of the shade. They are heavy!!! 😂

Yeah that's been my hesitation, is the weight involved to actually go that route. I move mine around in and out of shade too.
