Hi all,

Bit of background, during the flower stretch, one of my ladies main stems grew overnight through my light twice. I have quite a small tent and these two ladies are growing very tall.

The main cola on one of the stems did get burnt quite a bit, I cut off the burn from the fan leaves and have pinned the branch to the side to lower it from the top of the light. Problem now is, this main cola looks way different to all the others, it’s not exactly growing pistils but more a weird cluster (possibly foxtailled?). Posting some pics below, what do you all think?

Further info:
Seed - Shogun by RQS
Tent height - 160cm
Light - lumatek 300w (yes overkill I know) @ 75%.
Supplemented with C02
Feed - TA multi part

Many thanks,

TMS

check the temperature near that main cola (temp may vary a lot depending how far from the lamp)

Just moved my probe up, sitting at 34C currently and rising. Just on the back of a heatwave in my area so somewhat unavoidable.

And it’s about 5-6inches from the light, the light cannot go any higher.

well from my experience i start having issue with temperature superior than 38°c in flower

Gotcha. It could have been hotter than that in the peak. You think it could be residual damage from growing through the light and heatwave?

well not sure at all, but i thought it could be that

If the light is only 6 inches away, you're going to have issues, consider trying the plant down to get it away from the light, LST or even HST.
