I almost went with vivosun's a/b mixes. Talk about easyBut hey, for some people theyre worth the price as it saves them time and effort.
Here in Spain we dont have their liquid nutes, but taking a look at the chart yes, I see its pretty straight forward hahaha. Im pretty sure people can help you find a cheaper brand that works well, maybe vivosun is alright.I almost went with vivosun's a/b mixes. Talk about easy![]()
Agreed. Not sure about vivosun but I do like easy. AN is pretty straight forward. I follow the chart. Even though I do not have them all, I read that if you have one in each category it should be ok. They have 3 for bigger buds and 2 for better taste. I chose big bud for bigger buds but I believe I do have both bud candy and flawless finish which fall under better taste.Im pretty sure people can help you find a cheaper brand that works well, maybe vivosun is alright.
I feel your pain on that one, I decided to try Botanicare for my current 8x4 tent grow. 8 different bottles, $15-$20 for each quart, ended up being $130-$140 for it all.I will be rethinking a few things next grow. AN was WAY too expensive to stay with it.![]()
Home Depot reviews ranged from ineffective to fire. While we are here.... has anyone used this?

Vivosun Electric Mini Dehumidifier with 2200ml Tank
Crush humidity in small spaces for optimal growth. Vivosun’s electric dehumidifier is about to be your new secret weapon!vivosun.com
It has good reviews and I can afford this one.
This one here is also well reviewed and seems more powerful. Much more expensive. This is a dehumidifier, not a pH pen. Bad page naming.

Vivosun Digital pH Meter, 3-in-1 TDS EC and Temperature Meter
Achieve perfect soil pH and nutrient levels with auto-temp compensation. The Vivosun 3-in-1 pH, TDS and Moisture Meter is a game changer for your garden!vivosun.com
I have a 3x3x6 tent. 54 cubic feet I believe. If anyone here has any experience with either of these, please let me know your thoughts. Thanks.
Amazon has a ton of bad reviews. Someone bought it and put it in a 2x2, their humidity was 67% and running non stop for 3 days it could only get the tent down to 66% but added a bunch of heat, also took a for the tank to fill.Home Depot reviews ranged from ineffective to fire.
I am not married to AN. I do like that they were in the series Weeds but other than that..... I really do not know anything about them. I am open to anything that works well. I have seen a thread where someone was using Fox Farms nutrients and had some massive buds. If ok, I will get in touch when I run out of these. :)Out of all the bottled nutrients I've used, General Hydroponics Flora Series has given me the best results, I'm using that currently in my smaller tent grow. It's helping produce some pretty purple buds, Flora series is the one I keep going back to. It's a 3 part nutrient, all 3 quarts in a bundle for $35-$45 on Amazon. I have a feed chart that works very well if you're ever interested in trying it. I'm going to add General Hydroponics Liquid KoolBloom to the mix soon and see how good of a bloom booster it really is, I'm hoping it adds to the already great results I get with the Flora series.
Reviews suck. Can never know who is telling the truth. I am returning one today that is total crap from another company. Had mixed reviews as well. Hoping that someone here has had experience with these.Home Depot reviews ranged from ineffective to fire.
It would be nice to have one in the tent. But the small ones do not seem to do the trick. Here is my rigged mess.I use a whole room dehumidifier, Keystone 50 pint dehumidifier and is only $200 on Amazon. Has a "turbo mode" that works very well. It takes about 6-8 hours to fill the tank depending on the mode I'm running but I'm using a condensate drain tank so it empties itself.
If you decide to use the series I recommend, feel free to get in touch!I am not married to AN. I do like that they were in the series Weeds but other than that..... In the tent would be nice but the thing is, dehumidifiers make a lot of heat and inside your tent is going to counteract your Air Conditioners. It would be nice to have one in the tent. But the small ones do not seem to do the trick. Here is my rigged mess.
That's the biggest downside to a net, space for watering and such. I leave just enough space in my 8x4 that I can lay down on the floor, between my pots to do some trimming and such lol.I also put the net back up, It just looks so torturous. My fingers smell of marijuana from just moving them around a little. Hmmmmm. Watering can be such a pain with this net on.
Interesting. Ok, I will look into this. Thanks. If you use a whole room one like I use, you can make a box that goes on the intake of the dehumidifier and put a duct in one of your tent duct ports and it will suck the humid air out while keeping the heat out as well.
True, but then we would be hot. LOL. My temp is fair. currently 78.1 Degrees F. Lights on. Humidity is at 65%, not happy about that but until I can get something else, I have to keep my fingers crossed. Fan oscillating inside to keep air movement so I hope not to get mold. You could do the same for your Air Conditioner, make something that completely covers where the cold air blows out and duct it into the tent, then all the cold air will go in the tent instead of just some of it.
Thank you!If you decide to use the series I recommend, feel free to get in touch!
The one in the back right, the watermelon, is squashed pretty good. I have already snapped off one of her branches trying to pull down and anchor with a wire. I was so afraid I killed it. Nope, she is still growing strong.squash them more
don't be afraid
You can still gain 10 cm here at least and few more shoots

I will keep an eye on things and try to keep them at this height until they catch up a bit. The net is not really even either, a little lower on the smaller plants in front.
78 is not bad at all but I think your light was turned up to high for the veg stage IMO, lowering intensity to 30%-40% with 24"-30" above the canopy would of helped quite a bit with heat. Reserve the higher intensity for the middle of flower when the plants need it.Interesting. Ok, I will look into this. Thanks.

You can anchor branches to the main trunk, or to each other, before you bend them to prevent snapping them off.I have already snapped off one of her branches trying to pull down and anchor with a wire.
I have been. But my temp is not a real issue. The humidity is 61.4%, temp is 73.4 degrees F.Have you tried keeping the tent door open a little? Would help lower temp if needed and might help with humidity as well.
I've grown in high humidity, keep the air moving and you will be good.
How long to take the humidity down? Dimensions are not bad, if I had 1 less plant I could fit it in the tent.I use a whole room dehumidifier, Keystone 50 pint dehumidifier and is only $200 on Amazon. If my tent is 70% humidity, in turbo mode it will be down to 50% in 30 minutes and not in turbo mode take about 1 hour. That's with it in my lung room with no ducting or anything, just sitting next to the tent. How long to take the humidity down? Dimensions are not bad, if I had 1 less plant I could fit it in the tent.
Cool, thank you! So I would need to rig up hoses to blow the air into the tent while the fan is sucking out the humidity. Kinda like I have the AC blowing into the tent but a better seal correct? Or do I just leave it next to the tent and dry the room and let the tent suck in the dry room air?If my tent is 70% humidity, in turbo mode it will be down to 50% in 30 minutes and not in turbo mode take about 1 hour. Takes 6-8 hours to fill the 50 pint reservoir.
You would not want this in the tent, with how big a unit it is and how well it works, in a tent will easily raise temps 10-20 degrees unless you make an exhaust duct and completely cover the exhaust port on it. All dehumidifiers make heat.
I'm honestly all around impressed with it. Amazon let me do 4 monthly payments at $53 each payment, that's without the credit card and without Affirm.
No, you need to suck the humid air out. The blowing part on the dehumidifier is the exhaust and is where all the heat comes from.Cool, thank you!
