I was holding this heavy thing minus the blades. It’s hand blown glass and you assemble everything before you hung it .

El superbeasto grande plants👊🏻🤡
You’ve come a long way homie.
Great work.
Hey I hope that back feels better sooner than later homie!!
Sorry you are going through it man….
Much appreciated. You ALL have taught me a lot! Question for you. I ticked up the feed as you instructed, you stated I may use the entire bag. Plants drank the grub up in two days again. How often should I be feeding them? I am just going with water today. Gonna try to tweak the water for the sick one in the back based on some feedback from thatoneguyyouknow and ph. Stay tuned for that episode shortly. I am almost getting to the 10 gallon clones.

Often times those picky ones are most worth it to really figure out. And often times is something causing a problem most other plants would brush right off like a non issue. My peace lasters have some interesting quirks when grown inside. They're as picky indoors as they aren't outdoors

Can anybody explain what a f1 seed is please
A first generation cross between two genetically unrelated phenotypes of any given phylogeny. Whether a plant, a dog, a horse, or even a human technically.

@Captspaulding where does Cali blues get all her tentacles and spikes? Not sure I've seen it so wild and dangerous looking before lmao.

Man I'm sorry to hear that.

And Very same. Had the sketchy wobble on the next to highest rung while spinosading yesterday, and now have a ride lined up to harbor freight tomorrow to see what safer setup i can put together. Uneven soft ground. Sketchy as hell. A contractor I work with some.gimes has this 1x4 platform with individually adjustable legs. He said he got it at harbor freight. It'll go like 5 foot off the ground and you get on it using the ladder. He uses it for painting the outsiders of houses over uneven ground.
You can buy extendable sawhorses with all 4 legs each being adjustable, and they fold up as well. Used to see them on jobsites, never owned one though, so not sure if they would be available locally.

So worth the money then ?

Im not the guy you wanna talk to about whether seeds are worth the money they call or not lol.

You will usually get large, vigorous, yieldy, and impressive plants from F1's, but every phenotype will be different, and often like a completely different strain. So long as the plants chosen in the F1 generations are wise choices though, you can usually end up with predominantly fantastic phenos that all make quite unique flower. If you want to keep one in particular around take clones. All of the best phenotypes, hell the best genepools entirely ive ever come across and run personally were F1's. Every single one of them.

If you're looking at the RQS F1s or something, i can indeed tell you that there is a LOT of time and work that actually goes in to delivering an F1 lineage you can confidently say will deliver the kind of plant someone may be after. Whether the seeds of a plant that can make 10s of thousands per plant are worth money? Different question entirely to me. Depends on why you are doing it, and what you are after as a result.

Not that non-F1s arent great plants and frankly AMAZING for hunting down specific traits you are after though. But when i want to find unique plants to keep around a while and call mine, i make F1s out of those highly desirable and specific plants and hunt them for something special. More vigor, more disease and pest resistance, faster flowering, higher resin contents. All very common with F1s. But you also sometimes get super quirky, or crappy plants too. Theres a small dice roll involved.

I will say its been a long time since an F1 bully dog didnt win a dog long jump, or an F1 thoroughbred horse didnt win the Kentucky derby lol.

im pretty sure thats exactly what im after, and according to a contractor i know, i can get one for $90 at harbor freight. He says "do not buy the $69 one to stand on" 🤣

I have a 3 month old plant out there that prob hits 9ft today, and is getting close to 11 ft wide. She's a sativa dom F1. Her smallest sister is up over 6 foot and just as wide. You're never supposed to count your chickens before they hatch, but I feel like id have to fuck up pretty bad, or catastrophically lose some plants at this point to not pull 5+ lbs dry between the three sisters by cut.

The peaceblaster #1 currently looks like it's going to out yield all 7 of my non F1's put together tbh. In my close circle of friend the thing has got so big, its become a punchline to many inside jokes. I might try and grow a 25ft untopped tree next season.
