I don’t know how many people are planning on running organic soil in this challenge, but I will tip my cards just a little bit to everyone at that table. Leave yourself some space to top dress a few times through harvest.
Think of it like an organic soil being a battery, and your plant as a cellphone being used daily. And the container is the size of the battery. A small container will exhaust its charge quicker than a larger container.
On the flip side those who use fertilizer will essentially be “charging their phone daily”.

I like yer style dude! Those preserved leaves are awesome, I just remembered that I pulled a giant one off of my PBB XCMAN and stuck it in an atlas a few weeks ago, I gotta check that thing tonight.

I would run with option #1 for the seeds, but might not be a bad idea to germinate them all, especially if you have the space. Are they unknown strains of a different variety or all the same?

Space is definitely an issue. The seeds are either Lemon Skunk, Arjan's Haze #2 or Himalayan Gold crossed with an unknown male. Unfortunately, my gf was trying to "help" and mixed most of them all together. I have 2 seeds that might be a Haze cross. At least that is what is written on the little baggie. One that might be Himalayan Gold. The ink isn't legible on them anymore. It's been like maybe 15 years or more. No idea if any will sprout so I might just sow them all and see which ones do. If more than one sprouts I'll just go with the popular choice. I might be able to find a home for the rest. Looking at you @Galgrows ....perhaps a swap for a slurricane cut?

I’ll start setting up on the 1st we’ll go though the list of what we’ve all talked about the past 21 pages and I’ll make a seperate poll and we’ll take the top suggestions, im thinking around august 7th we’ll all drop seeds I think most people will be just about ready and have space for a single plant to start germinating

I was so excited I started one 2 months ago just to get an exact timeline for us to follow

She just got stuck in the flower tent yesterday in her final pot just over 7 weeks from seed splash to flip, just about the timeline I was looking for to use for this comp, even enough time to get small clones if you are wanting that’s what i was waiting for

Not attached to this or anything but wanted to suggest that a new thread gets started for this on the actual start date, or maybe a day or two before. Post number one can be all the rules. That way it’s super easy to reference the rules at anytime without having to search through these pages for whenever the official rules are posted, Just a thought..

Yes there will be a sept rate topic, it will be for photo submission 2x a week only, this topic will remain, and I’ll rename it the one gallon discussion topic where everyone can talk about the other topic freely without people complaining about cluttering the comp topic

At this point most outside growers are getting left behind and won't be able to participate. I'm still good to go but another month will put a bit of a crimp in it

Yeah this will have to be an indoor challenge for most people. There's no way in hell I'd be able to finish anything outdoors that's not already growing at this point. Herre in my part of CO our grow season is so short, I rarely ever get to finish my outdoor sativas properly.

It's going to be snowing here in just a few more weeks. Usually we get slammed with a snow storm by mid September, early October for sure.

Yep indoor all the way lol, auto are allowed but they should flip themselves sometime within the 7 weeks from seed to sprout I’d imagine

They had that big internet fuck up as well, I had packages that said lost or running late due to 3rd party technical issues etc, they ended up arriving late, hopefully you’ll be back in buisnesss. I’m thinking it’ll be around the end of the first week of august, most should be ready or close enough that a random seedling won’t affect plant count for a week or so etc

They already have my replacement and it shows a delivery date of August 1st, that's already more tracking information then I had before lol.
In my messages to AC Infinity, I expressed how I was hoping to have the tent before a contest on a forum started and that I want to eventually buy the Ionframe Evo 3 light to run in the 3x2 because it's the perfect dimensions for it and they offered me 35% off and free shipping for the Evo 3 for the inconvenience. I obviously jumped all over that and have an Ionframe Evo 3 on the way as well!!!
Now I have enough light to not only run my 1 gallon challenge plant in the 3x2 but also my first Auto plant that I'm trying to grow in a 20"x20"x36" Stealth Box. The Auto is filling the box up quick and I don't think I can train it enough to keep it in that small of space so when the tent gets here, it's going in!
Damn mystery seeds, I was hoping for a L Auto but must be either a XL or XXL Auto lol.
Here's what it looks like so far, day 22 from sprout.

I’ll never complain about my lack of sun and shorter season again! Even with this fire ripping around us i dont know if im ready for snow though! CO is a nice state though

I received the legit same Pendleton sweater jacket thing from the movie as a 40th birthday gift. People often refer to me as the dude or his dudeness, in Spanish culture they call me El Duderino. Although sometimes I’m not very dude at all, I get a little bit angry sometimes and my temperament is more like Walter, I only know a Donny just so I can tell him to shut the fuck up. But that’s just like my opinion man.
