I was very surprised learning it came from a Blue Dream cross as none of the Blue Dream I've smoked tasted like blueberries and this cross is strong blueberry.

I just pulled out a half ounce yesterday to puff for a few days.

Highly recommend😉

I have been growing indoors for 5 years now and for the first 2 years I had REALLY sub optimal conditions; nute/light burn, light leaks, under and over feeding, under/over watering. humidity all over the place... but I have yet to grow a 'nanner on any of them.

I also grow p. Cubensis shrooms in the tent occasionally, and some of them have been full of bacteria and mold.

Am I just lucky or have genetics advanced to the point that popping pollen sacs is rare? I have not had any mold or PM or even pests (other than mild fungus gnats that came in a bag of FFOF)
With all those prior issues listed above your plants would have already been under a good deal of stress, in a bad way, and the genetics would have shown intersexing symptoms had they not already been run through the gamut in generations prior. ( sorry for long winded sentence)
I can’t speak on the shrooms other than from what I know a sterile and controlled environment is paramount to the success of a harvest. You are basically allowing one particular fungus to flourish where other fungi and bacteria are also in prime conditions to do the same. I don’t have any experience in this realm but I do understand the importance of the sterile environment. Ultimately I’d say that the two are unrelated.
As far as newer vs older genetics or seed stocks, it’s entirely dependent on how much the breeder vets their own products. The razzle dazzle of the market is always looking for the new best strain. This puts pressure on the breede to bring stuff to market while it’s still hot, hard to do when you have a 6-8 month window just to start with one generation. The full vetting process can take several generations to work out all the kinks, including pheno hunting for specific traits and then back crossing them to the point of stability.
Last night I was reading about a new release of seeds that are a collaboration between ethos genetics and happy valley. This project started in 2022 , two years ago, and is just now hitting the market. That should help give a little perspective to what an experienced breeder can do to ensure a solid genetic profile. It’s a long process and again the market doesn’t exactly help.

Another Bodhi creation I highly recommend is Mother's Milk which I'm currently growing
20240724 182941

This has a milky creamy flavor and when mixed in a joint with the BBHP or GDP you get creamy grapes or berries. I've never tasted such a thing in weed before. I grew it 2 years ago and had no idea it was going to be this good and didn't make any seeds. This time I'm going to make a lot.

I've also got 2 fems of Mother's Milk x BBHP
20240724 182810

from 3Thirteen Seeds that are monsters and if half as good as I suspect I'll be making my own crosses this winter.

There's a reason Bodhi is recognized as one of the leaders in crossing and making new hybrids and I've fallen in love with several😉

I’m sitting on a pack of lazy lightning
⚡💀 from Bohdi right meow. I was thinking about doing a Grateful Dead themed grow at one point, but lack of space keeps some of my best ideas at bay. I was going to run some Chem dog, and maybe some Cherry Gar see ya in the same grow.

Morning all!

New addition to the flower tent, the 1 gallon cman x okie! Look at her all tiny and all compared to the Frostette and cali blues 🤣

She’s a damn nice compact plant through! 2 clones in the cloner and a Frostette clone to give away with the 2nd cman clone as long as both take, im sure they’ll be fine

You would have loved it at 1300 ft on tower with me. You would have shit your pants. While I wacked you hands with a set of channel locks to get you acclimated to not hanging on for dear life. Harness be comfy.
I did roofing for years off and on,all kinds of height shit, I am absolutely terrified of heights. You just have to focus on what you are doing, if you stop and look around that anxiety kicks in. If you tunnel vision then you are golden

Guys, can I ask for your input as I’ve fucked up a little.

I think I jarred my blue dream too early.
It was drying for 14 days and I would say the average temp/rh was 65/65 but it did fluctuate throughout the days

The stems didn’t snap but I think I’ve read that if stems snap they might be too dry?

After first night in jar (with boveda 62% pack) I burped and the smell was a bit strange, not necessarily a bad smell but a little off what I was expecting almost a little creamy. So I put it all in a cardboard box for a couple days and rh was down to 59%.

Don’t know if I went nose blind but after 2 days they had almost no smell. I put back in jar last night and this morning that slightly off smell was back (although I could pick out a fruity smell behind it this time) so they are back in the box.

Is there anything else I should do to dry them or to stop any chance of mold?

Don't put boveda packs in until they are already jar stable. Those are more for long term storage. I would simply burp once a day unless they push 66 rh or higher then leave them out on a tray for an hour and put them back in. Make sure the room humidity is low enough. It's an art my friend

Thank you. I will take the packs out. Do you think the off smell will die out as they stabilise? It isn’t a hay smell as I had that mid way through drying, this is a different smell but just hard to explain

"Mikedin's laboratory" should be a thread

Are you reusing jars, or are they new? Either way I will put a little rubbing alcohol in them and shake them vigorously, then I dry with a clean paper towel and air dry them until the alcohol smell dissipates. I’ve had brand new jars smell weird from the start.

Can I spray anything on a start of week 3 indoor plant random seed she has greenflies is she done for cut my loss now and clean room and everything or spray what ???? Help please leaves also kinda curling up weird and very dark is she just dying week and now pest?

This is the closest depiction of myself that I could find on the internet without revealing my true identity

So last night I swung my battle axe at one of the skunk autoflowers, it was a quick death blow, and I was victorious in my quest to partially fill my bounty. 🤣😂🤣😂

Not saying this is what to do in your situation but I saw @BearWater dunk his whole flowering plant in a bin of water yesterday so I’d say it’s probably not necessary to chuck it out just yet 👍

If they are aphids, I use a mix of 1 teaspoon neem oil, 1/2 teaspoon Castile soap or dish soap and a litre of warm water in a pump sprayer on my chillis. Are they week 3 total or week 3 of flower?
