it works well enough, about as well as any other single all encompassing dry nutrient. It's just really hard to make a good, all encomasing single formula, because so many things the plants want, if you are going synthetic feed routes, are reactive together. This is the origin of the good ole 3 part lineup everyone used to start with, whether fox farm, GH flora, botanicare, whatever lmao. You could get a much fuller, all bases covered package with a multi part.

She was using the all purpose, and good luck taking a plant through flower with that stuff lmao. its like 28-8-10 or something absurd like that. Ok for veg, if used lightly.

If you mix different ratios of their all purpose, bloom booster, and vege/tomato water soluable feed, you can do very well with miracle grow, you just have to make sure you prevent soil acidification through salt build ups (flush often) and give a good long thorough flush before harvest. Just about ay 3 part on the market will out perform it, but it can work just fine.

Thats what i was going to have this friend do if she wouldnt come off the miracle grow. But i think ive got her a simple partially organic regiment put together from the home depot's inventory by her, which was what her only prerequisite/line drawn ended up being ("Im not going to multiple stores for plant stuff" lol)

As long as your soil is half decent you can take a cannabis plant of any size through flower with just kelp and a good PK feed. Shell be using whatever brand kelp home depot has and Alaska More Bloom lol. compared to all purpose miracle grow, night and day difference, literally overnight, but thats mainly because the plant's going into flower and the NPK ratios just went way more appropriate.

My big issue with miracle grow personally, is that the company does not disclose to the consumer that their dollars are going to Monsanto, they actually try and hide it. Scotts too. Thats the root of the cannabis world's hatred for MG too so far as im aware. As a fertilizer, its fine. It works good, you just gotta watch for salt build up in container with it. I used it all the time as a broke teenager with no rides anywhere. They sell it at dollar general lmao.

^Yet another unpopular *truth* to speak though lmao.

P.S. Botanicare is also owned by Monsanto now, and i know they've been trying to buy GH too. Their name isn't Monsanto anymore either they changed it to avoid consumer backlash as they acquired more companies under their umbrella. Idr what it is right off hand though lol. I also forget which one's, but some of the yard equipment manufacturers are under their corporate umbrella now too.

I was speaking about the soil not the fertilizer. Which yeah I don’t how you all do it. I hate mixing up stuff and waiting. Measuring spoons and all. The build a soil powder is pretty easy I still find it to be a pain in the ass to mix wait etc.

Agree on books being better IT is my favourite book of all timeView attachment 2228610
Mind you the Tim curry tv movie was pretty awesome as well!
I'm a bit embarrassed to admit this but I just saw the original IT for the first time last Saturday. Goes to show how little TV I watch. I liked it better than the one in the cinemas a few years back.

oh my bad. I was talking about the dry fert so i assumed you were too lol.

Yea their soil is crap. Ive used it with good results, but i would screen the bark and twigs out, cut it with peat or coco like 50/50. then add some handfuls of perlite. It's not exactly their soil anymore at that point though.

Currently im using screened hyponex ( literally the cheapest crap you can get), mixed with peat, a bit of my own compost, some micro life pellet feed, and perlite lmao. Last ones i added some coco though too, its clumping more then i would like.

Id have to order the base components to do a super soil from scratch here, and the shipping is nuts ofr ordering that kind of stuff. The closest hydro store is about 2 hours away, i dont drive. So the farmer's co-op store for me it is. So bottle feeds and organic soil amendments it is.

Im lucky there's a farm with goats that lets me take scoops of the goat manure. Im not 100% sure how i'd be doing the outdoor plants otherwise. Lots of expensive top dressings and back breaking soil amending pre-grow probably. Ive been able to find that locally and for free everywhere i've lived though.

Nah dont be, i havent seen the old or the new, i also havent seen 2001, The Godfather, or the Goonies, and the list goes on and on my friend.

...and I thought mowing would be my big adventure for the day!

I'd just come out of a quick shower to cool down from the mowing and weed whacking and there's a big cloud of smoke up the hill, weren't from no fire pit

My neighbor's house is maybe 300 yards up the hill & on the other side of him another hundred yards or so is his brother's house, couldn't tell for the trees if one or the other was on fire

I grabbed my fire extinisher, run to the mud room where I keep my gardening clothes and I'm pulling my pants on and my belt is twisted, and I'm twisting it the wrong way even more ...and I can't get my pants buckled!

And I said out loud "fuck I think I'm going to go rescue my neighbors and I can't even put on my own pants!" 🤦🏻 😂🤣😂

So I dropped my draws, pulled on my shorts and drove up the hill and this is what I saw!

Blew up several times after I went back home, fire department finally came, driver got out ok, thank God

You guys have to watch The Goonies, man. Although, I'm not sure it will have the same impact now that you are adults. Original Clash of the Titans is a favorite, but not sure I'd be saying that if I hadn't seen it when I was young.

One thing I can say about the community here is people here are a lot nicer, much cooler peeps to hang out with here. I believe in propping people up and not dissing them with rude comments. If you see something wrong instead of being a dbag, help someone with knowledge!

I'm glad they're okay. That's no joke there.

Heads up for anyone and everyone that uses Amazon.

I've been hearing rumors about bedbugs, but saw a video today confirming it. These specific hubs are in KY, but we all know how bedbugs work. I also know how much of a trash human bezos is. He isn't paying to treat any of these facilities properly or adequately. This woman, not in KY, stated she got them in September of last year from a package. Took months to get rid of and over 5k.

I wouldn't be opening any packages in my home or even putting them inside my home. Not much makes my skin crawl, but bedbugs is up high on that list.

Oh you'll see rude ones on here but they're normally from people who can't accept that there might be the ever so slight chance that they've screwed something up. And I love those threads. 🤣

Some of you know me better now so you may actually click (Or maybe not because you know me better now, who knows 🤣)

I do music and mixing and mastering stuffs. Mostly guitar oriented heavy music, but heavily electronic influenced and i also play with sound design and lots of synthesizers. I've gotten pretty damn good at it. Im currently working on an EP im probably going to legitimately release through some streaming/distribution platforms (youtube music, amazon music, spotify etc)

This is a 100% synth track ive fully mixed and mastered. (playable in browser without signing up, promise)

This ones heavy as f*ck. partially mastered, repeating demo loop im using to write some lead/solo melodies with. *Live mic'd guitars, bass, and drums* (this is a demo mix, Not releasing the track in full til the EP is finished. It and the arbor will prob be "singles" if you can even call them that anymore lol)

And this is a local band ive been recording, mixing, and mastering, ive been trying to get their singer up here for ages to finish the mix, but i think hes a bit intimidated by how good its turning out tbh.

I should have an entire EP of my own, as well as a couple EP's ive recorded mixed and mastered from local artists out sometime this winter. If you like rock metal, or electronic music, you may actually dig it. Ive put a long time and a lot of work into getting good at this 😁 if you click, and you can, use good headphones or speakers 😉

Hey I dig that 100% synth track. That's freaking cool man. How long does that take to finish?

Actual time spent working on the thing, that one, prob a couple days. But i tend to go back and forth between projects, ill have idea, go back and tinker, leave a project part done, go to other ones, so it's really hard to actually say. That first one was prob in my recent projects folder for 3 or 4 months. I was trying to make a trancy track that never once repeated itself, while feeling exactly the same start to finish, while also bringing two very distinct sounds together as a kinda intermission track.

The second link, the track thats a looping excerpt from, ive been working on that track alone for about 2 years now. Getting good at mastering a mixed track so it doesnt feel out of place in a playlist of other music, now thats an exercise in futility and patience for sure.

The reason a band's first album is almost always their best, is because they probably spent years making those songs, working em out, trying different things. But then they got signed by a label, and were then contractually obliged to do that again, every year, for the next decade, along side both constant touring and promotional work too. They very well may have spent a decade alone on that first album lol. All the best bands who hit it out the park every time, tend to have at least 3-5 years between albums and view it as art, not a career. There are def exceptions to that though.

That's nasty! Thanks for the heads-up
