They just keep sending out evac notices too......they just can't control the majority of it, part of Paradise was the latest, and its full force in the north end of this beast , you blink.and it's taking over some more and more.......devastating and heartbreaking

I hope the wind dies a little, cooler, and a little more humid weather might slow it down in the a.m.! You can bet they’re going to throw everything they have at it to keep it from getting to Shingletown! Kind of means they might have to stop at Manton . I don’t think they want to let it start burning uphill!

Only good news is they haven't added any new areas to the evac order since late yesterday afternoon, at least in the Shingletown area. Looks like it's skirting the Dixie Fire scar and going North and East. Some better weather and a wind change coming Monday or Tuesday, but when the fires are that big they make their own weather.

The head of the fire is out of control and feeding at leisure! It’s going to wreck another town it sounds like (dont quote me) there is so much info flying around right now. I usually listen directly to the command on the scanner (I’ve been asleep the last few hours)

Amazing news, my buddy's old house in Cohasset SURVIVED, he had a swimming pool and apparently when they lost power the fire dept, pumped water out of the pool and saved the house!!!!!
