Mid flower update.

6 flowering plants and 6 in veg is the home grow limit here, but we're allowed 5lbs of flower at home! So I flipped my biggest mother plants. 🤣

Since I'm running the skunks, I am following the flowering limits so there's no issues. I guess I'll be compliant for once 🤷‍♂️. I have zero neighbors anywhere close by, but the road is close enough away that I don't doubt a car driving by could smell skunk in late flower. I remembered how far away I could smell it when it was growing back in the day, so I planned ahead.

Super Skunk still very healthy and stacking up like crazy. She is a stinky girl! Smell is straight up skunk spray. Legit smells like an actual skunk. Not weed, SKUNK!!!

Take a look at this plant structure. I can't even believe that it's mostly buds. I wasn't even going to flower this plant, just use it for clones, which is why the middle is gone. Worked out decent though since it cleaned up all the jang, plus I defoliated pretty heavily.

Got some great news today, test results came back and the first round of genetics tested are clean and free from HpLVd. The Super Skunk is clean and mother plants are backed up at 2 locations. She's a part of the family now and is here to stay.

"Roadkill" Skunk mid flower.

She is exploding buds everywhere. Stacking a lot more than expected. Slower flowering than the SS, but that plant is a freak of nature. This one seems to be a very long flowering plant and is probably the slowest of these 5 strains to develop buds. Still a long time to go on this one.

Very healthy and praying. Still has the rank roadkill smell on the leaves and stem rubs! Lots of crazy smells coming off the trichromes and buds. She is a stinker as well, but still a very heavy, dead skunk smell as opposed to the skunk spray from the SS.

Between both of these plants, the smell is so overpowering all day and night. There's no hiding the smell here. Sealed room with CO2 is the culprit 100%. Smell creeps throughout the whole place and can smell it a good 100ft away outside already! 🦨

Only time I can't smell it inside is when the exhaust kicks on. When that happens, the smell is crazy strong outside and the carbon filters help somewhat, but not enough to cover the stank.

Beating a dead skunk here, but the Stinkfoot is alive and well!

That thought has crossed my mind. No plans on selling seeds though. No time or space for a breeding project. Even pheno hunting these few packs of skunks I picked up will take me a while.

This is the first time I've even popped seeds in years. I run clones so I can flower plants. That's it.

Plus it seems like everybody who claims to have skunk immediately sells seeds of it. Not me. I'd rather keep the clone lines going.

The Super Skunk is like a perfect skunk. It's a powerful skunk spray stench but in a good way, with such a nice structure.

The abomination should've been lost to time. I can't imagine why anybody would keep it around. It's really disgusting, and not appealing at all. I wouldn't even want to cross it with anything. It's that bad.

Well I’ve been waiting months. Too long it seems to see if this is the real skunk. I messaged a long time ago and you said you wouldn’t share it until you know for sure what you got. So excited you got it finally I’m happy and can’t wait to smoke some. I was only like 5 or 6 when I smelled this bud before. I can’t wait to smell it again

Patience young padawan. Some people have been waiting 20+ years for the real skunk.

Anybody can say they have skunky smelling plants, but the proof is in the buds & smoke.

Until these are finished flowering and I can get a few smoke reports to confirm these are 100% legit skunk plants, we are all waiting on plants growing. I'll keep updating along the way.

Would love to know the history of this roadkill
I was on the hunt for some skunk plants after doing tons of reading about it. Bought some seed packs first, figured that would be a good place to start. Then I came across a bunch of different clones that are very skunky. A.S.S. Bodhi cut, ECSD, Super Skunk, and this skunk.

Don't know the lineage, or that part of the history unfortunately. Very interested in that so will eventually get it genome tested. I know it came from VA. It's supposed to be a very old clone line held tightly all this time, that is absolutely rank, dead skunk rotting in the sun, "roadkill" smelling plant.

So far, it has that same disgusting heavy roadkill smell that I remember, that was always from the older heads.

Compare that to the Super Skunk, which has the bright skunk spray that I smoked a lot of during the 90s and rember it being everywhere, reminds me of ECSD skunk spray.

These plants stink like skunk, especially for only having a couple of them. It's been very early on in the grow that I'm able to smell it from so far away and it be so pronounced.

Hey now that sounds amazing. I hope that that amazing smell holds up into cure. There seems to be some real potential in that cut if so, Ive got six different packs of bodhis skunk hashplants with A.S.S. Phenos and hippy slayer crossed g13. That cut seems like it’s held close, whoever you got it from I wonder if they let it out much. Are you on instagram? I’ve barely heard many folks talk about this VA rks, only once on icmag.
