I got really sick this weekend, I think it was the meds that, doctor prescribed. I was telling my dogs goodbye that is how I felt. I closed the tent but I had the light intensity too high, the heat, or possibly I over fed them. Either way I am glad to be alive, but I am not happy about burning my leaf tips or dealing with trying to not get fired. I won’t go into that except it seems that there is too many hands in the pockets.

So anyway on to the plants. First in line is Cali blues.

Follwed by the purest indica. She’s a really neat plant.

these are some marks left on her. I think it was the light setting. If I recall correctly someone asked about a similar marking and captain called it grill marks from the light which makes a lot of sense looking up at the bar light. Anyone else want to weigh in please do .v

Not bragging and I know there are a lot of great cooks and maybe even some Chefs in here, but my wife IS the best cook I have ever met beside some super fancy restaurants, hold on a sec, yes dear I put the part about you being the best cook! Sorry guys im back 😂 seriously though I cant wait for her to make some real ass dinners with some herbal! I think the game would be to finish dinner before passing out in your plate at the table!😂

Just make sure you keep a very accurate record of all your coms with work! Get it in texts or email! : ) glad you’re alive also man! Plants are looking pretty darn good all things considering!

Made garlic scape pesto this year. One of the top best 5 meals I've ever had, including nice restaurant meals. Added some chicken. With bowtie pasts and some morels I had dried from springtime. Absolutely incredible.

Good food is hard to find nowadays unless it is home cooked. I just had this convo with my mom too. She's hands down one of the best cooks I know. And bakers. I don't like baking tho. Too precise. Only thing my mom doesn't do well is chops. Told her I preferred my Dad's when I was little. She explained it's because he cooked them in bacon grease. 😍😍😍

I used to live next door to a 5 star chef. My dad would make meals and dude would pack massive to go meals. I remember him telling my dad how wonderful the food was but his “presentation sucks”. I shared a recipe not from him but a professional chef’s wife who didn’t like eggs wanted to try it. The next week he made it with all that Presentation the other chef spoke of. All dolled up with the salsa that should be on the side with fancy looks. Yes he made it look beautiful but I wanted mine with out the pretty salsa deco 😂
 
Yep, I'm retired and in Michigan in the winter there's nothing to do, so.
I followed GNick's instructions in his dry sifting hash post, set up in the unheated back garage, and voila I made hash! (and emptied lots of bins, that I plan on filling up this fall)

I've only used a little of the hash, but I've given lots away. Neighbor gave some to a lady who said she was pain free for the first time in a long time. Worth all the 'work'. 🙂
Hubby was ready to have a bonfire before I reduced the footprint.
Hey Cpur, if the hubby ever does force you to have a bonfire... invite me! I'll bring lots of marshmallows and chocolate...

Benefits/features are what decide the initial purchase, but excellent customer service is what keeps me coming back to any company.
 
You guys got a favorite thrips killer? I’ve got some in one tent, way early veg so not too worried. I’ve hit ‘em’ with Zymes two days in a row. Might jump to Neem today, possibly Pyrethrin.
 
I would post all the nl5 together but this one deserves her own post. I been complaining about her being a problem child. The same thing with the mothers of these two kids. I wish I could find them I posted them on the trainwreck and her name was Miss Thang . She finished and had this lipstick thing going on later making her pretty.

I’m sorry you’re going through the shit, but your plants look good, better than mine at least. I don’t have much control over the heat in my grow this time of year. I am about to harvest an afghan autoflower that stressed the fuck out seeing high eighties low nineties way too much let’s just say “foxes tails all have fox tails on their fox tails, fox tails. This plant would’ve been a better winter time grow. Oh well lesson learned, now I know to run more sativa leaning plants in the warmer months and indicas in cooler months.

Rasta pasta was a homemade recipe that I came up with about six almost seven years ago. The girlfriend and I had two servings and got stuck in our loft for about four hours after it kicked in. She couldn’t feel her legs and she was convinced that she couldn’t move them. I said no way, watch this. I got up made a step and a half and fell back to the floor. We sat there laughing at each other for a while after that and eventually passed out. It was some strong ass butter. I used about a quarter ounce of roach weed broken up and reground for one stick of butter. You’re probably thinking eww gross roach weed, but surprisingly it had a pleasant roasted herb flavor to it. That paired well with sautéed garlic,mushrooms , onions and celery. I used about two tablespoons of butter for the sauté, and tossed some egg noodles in there to soak up the sauce and that was it. Simple recipe and goes great with any type of meat. Pork, steak,chicken,venison or shrimp. I’d make it again but I don’t save roach’s anymore cause I put those cardboard tips in all my joints now.

I am way better bro! Going back to work tomorrow. Stopped taking those meds. Doc didn’t want to say it was them pills 🤷‍♂️ oh and I won the spider farmer humidifier today. That was pretty cool. 😁🤡

I’m sorry you’re going through the shit, but your plants look good, better than mine at least. I don’t have much control over the heat in my grow this time of year. I am about to harvest an afghan autoflower that stressed the fuck out seeing high eighties low nineties way too much let’s just say “foxes tails all have fox tails on their fox tails, fox tails. This plant would’ve been a better winter time grow. Oh well lesson learned, now I know to run more sativa leaning plants in the warmer months and indicas in cooler months.
Why do you let it get so hot in the summer? I am not mad at them I just didn’t want that burnt leaf tip…. I will eventually get it with the help of my amigos here on the farm.
