Me neither but it's all good. I'm ready to go mostly. I decided to make this interesting. I'm doing an outdoor/supplemental light type thing. Because I have photos going out back, I need to control the supplemental lighting. So I'm building a confined space roughly the dimensions of my first successful closet grow except square instead of rectangular-ish. The nonexistent "walls" (a tarp at night is as close as it gets) will be like goal lines except in this case I can't break the plane. So it will be about 30" x 30" x 52" and will be on the patio under a covered pergola. Only diffused light so supplemental lights are needed. I considered doing full sun then moving it around sundown but I think this will be more interesting.

I'm cool with it either way. I'm going to go ahead and take some cuttings tonight, then. If I'm doing a quick cycle I'm not gunna do all that just for one plant so I'll have a few more growing besides the "contestant" plant 🤠

Oh and I suppose the few mothers I'm already growing will also get lumped into the mix

Yep that’s it I’ll start from my previous post and start adding people from that post that say “I’m in” until the night of the 4th probably then I’ll make a new topic with all the new members tagged and the explanation of how the submissions work,
My plan is 2 weekly submissions 1-3 photos each time your choice or maybe a full plant pic is required to verify it’s the same plant then 2 pics of your choosing, and that’ll be twice a week, in another topic, I’ll change the name of this one to the one gallon challange discusssion topic, the new topic will be for photos only, no sidebar discussions I’ll remove anything that’s not a picture, all discussions will be done in the designated topic (this one)

I plan to keep at least one of these topics clean 🤣🤣🤣

I’m going to use a 1 gallon bucket and make it into a sub irrigated pot. Going to try and do it with build a soil 3.0 recipe craftblend and a bunch of home made nutrients. It will be all organic.

And here's the unbelievable BEAUTY of this, exposing hundreds, maybe thousands of potential growers of all the different ways to grow this healing plant.

Can anyone tell me what they've done today to help as much as this right here? Yeah, this is going to be something and I for one will be 👀 at your grow, and her grow and his grow and there grow. We're ALL gonna get an education and to me, THIS ROCKS!

And just for that I'm going to pick a top 3, first, second and third place and will send seeds. GDP of course, Sarsparilla S1's (GMO x Pure Michigan - something like 30+% - kicks my ass and I gotta tolerance😉) and if the Sin City Juice, a nice daytime sativa that currently smell like tropical citrus make any seeds (🤣) I'll add those as well.

So show me what's ya got people😘

Basically I’d like
1: 1 gallon (your medium choice)
2: Photos or auto (no clone this run for a reason)
3: Everyone will get the same start date, that will be the seed splash date, once everyone’s seed has popped we will select a date 20-30 days in the future to flip for photos, not sure of the Veg timing for most autos I know some are fast some veg longer, so we’ll have to account for that. Maybe find an somewhat average veg time for autos and select a flip date for the photos based off that but I’d like a short veg quick flip type challenge
4: training and topping is obviously a decision everyone will have to make given the short veg time allotment we will plan so folks will have to very carefully select timing for any topping etc before veg time runs out
5: your choice synthetic or organic we can seperatly vote on whatever we’d like afterwards, group the autos together make a poll, group the photos together, make a poll, group the males together etc but we don’t need seperate topics for the grow we can separate it out however we’d like for a vote at the end, and make those decisions as we go during the comp
6: Genetics, your choice as long as it’s seed, fem reg whatever strain you’d like, hell some might even be wanting a male to pop
