I bought 1 cubic yard of organic super soil seven (7) months ago. I haven't opened the box that it came in and have kept it out of direct sunlight. My question is do I need to recharge- revitalize this soil before growing in it?

The soil would be fine nutrient wise as there was nothing pulling nutrients out of it. I would mix the soil up/stir, get it into your planters and slowly water it in over a couple of days and you're ready for seeds/transplanting.

That said, since it's brand new soil, and you haven't grown anything in it yet, I wouldn't amend anything into it as it could be perfect right out the bag. Once you start growing in it, the plants will tell you what's up and you adjust from there.

Hope this helps.....
Happy growing! : )
