Hello all.

I want to prep better on this grow as best I can and just had some basic questions on nutes and soil. I've been using ffof for soil and then the fox farm trio.

I would like to grow organic but I'm in an apartment and don't know where to get compost. I'm wondering if there is a better reasonably priced soil? I was looking at pro mix.

For the nutrients I was thinking of using advanced nutrients instead of fox farm. The feeding chart confuses me. Not sure if I use all 3 at the same time. I've only used grow big in veg and tiger bloom for flower.

Any recommendations? Also I believe I burn some because I always end up with yellow tips that brown and die.

Purple cow is well reviewed water only super soil. Indicanja or something like that.

Bud grower makes a water only super soil concentrate and prefilled 3gallon pots for water only grows

Coast of Maine, but that needs a 15 gallon pot the web site says if you want a fully water only.

Nature's living makes a concentrate super soil you can mix into potting soil in a specific way to make almost any quality potting soil into super soil.

With most organic super solis it seems you can be 99% water only. Most need a small bit of cal/mag in flower I've read.

I'm currently doing a few pots from bud grower and a few with nature's living.

Next run I'm trying purple cow.

There is build a soil 3.0 and biobizz (I think that last one might be incorrect name but close).

Tons of organic options that you can purchase for a water only grow in your apartment.

Maybe the purple cow would be good for you? The super soil from nature's living has a hard core manure stink. There is that to consider. My grow tent smelled like poo for a month.

I was just chatting with a guy on here about the purple cow and he didn't mention a stink.

I don’t know where you’re located, but I’m trying to do mostly organic and got a ton of free horse poop. You can probably find someone that will let you have a bag as a soil amendment. I also use gaia green, which is a powdered organic you only add once a month and water.

If anyone has an answer you’ll find it on here soon I’m sure

I forgot about Gaia green. Thanks for the reminder.

I saw Nature's living soil autoflower concentrate. Has anyone used this?

Also checked out purple cow. I'm just not sure what a cubic foot is in gallons. Was looking to grow 2 plants but I'm not sure if I'm gonna go 3 gallon or 5.

Coast of Maine has soil that's 1.5 cubic feet also so I'm debating using one of these.

Build a soil. There soil I believe to be the best out there. Then dry amend with craft blend.
I’ve been reading a lot about them recently as im going to try my hand at top dressing and what not. They have a newer VEG product you can water in with! totally getting it along with the top dress kit and the build a flower along with the craft blend. I like that they “ethically” source stuff and exclude some ingredients based on that! Science backed company, I have heard nothing but good things about them. (I dont have the knowledge base to build my own mixes at this point).

I've not used the auto flower but I've used the other one and I like it.
