Thought I would share this since I feel like it was a near death experience and I was thinking it was the medicine my doctor prescribed. Doctor thought it was a 🐜 . He didn’t say the medication couldn’t be the cause. I was thinking it was a cya tactic. My lady tells me today that she can’t get boars head ham because there was a recall. That’s what I ate before I got sick! I looked it up and it could definitely be it. https://www.fsis.usda.gov/recalls-a...y-eat-liverwurst-and-other-deli-meat-products
If you guys got any in the fridge get it out ! Although I am feeling better I still feel beat up.
Yeah I saw that recall a few weeks ago about listeria. One more reason to avoid those processed meats. I try not to eat them because they can cause inflammation and I don’t need that shit anymore than I already deal with it. It sucks everything that’s quick and easy is bad for you, unless you’re eating raw vegetables. I’m not trying to be that healthy 🤣😂

Glad you’re feeling a little better! Damn! We dont get that kind but man I’ve seen it and even pick it up and check it out at our local store! To close for comfort!

I think they were looking for it a weeks ago. The recall was a few days ago. After that I don’t think I will ever eat cold meats again.

I ate a lot of it with the munchies the night before too no bread or cheese just the ham. Thanks man & it looks like your advice for multiple quotes are spot on you smart fella 👊😁

Glad that worked! I know my instructions were less than articulate 😂 dude me and all three of my kids have meat snacks! (Roll up the meat and eat it!!!) 😍 gotta watch them! Theyll blow through a pack of meat half a day! Haha.

Sure could be😉

I try and give most of my plants some shade during the day. Full sun all day can become a bit much for some plants and sure dries out whatever substrate I use very quickly.
It gets so hot and humid here in that 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. period, that even when I was growing here as a teenager I made sure I planted where a tree shaded my plants during that period. They'll try to transpire heavily at that time of day but the humidity will be too high for it to evaporate and they'll actually sweat Right into their own flowers here . For best results you have to shade them during that period here.

I also noticed back then that a plant getting 7 hours of direct sunlight yielded pretty much the same as a plant getting 10. And I actually got a lot less pm and rot on the plants only getting seven, because they were a lot more open airflow and light penetration both. If Slightly stretched your plants will develop further down into the canopy more fully than a super tightly node spaced plant outdoor usually. You get 2 ft further from an LED and that's bad, but if you're 2 foot further from the Sun that's meaningless

taking that into account my plants being shaded between 4:00 and 6:00 p.m. ended in jar with substantially more than my plants getting more like 10 hours back then.

Burning my eyes while pressure washing recently had me thinking about the way moisture refracts light though

And I'm at high elevation, usually when it gets overcast I'm kind of in the bottom of the clouds and it's a little foggy, I'm not just way beneath them. And on those days my plans are getting just as much light when the sun is behind that tree as they are when it's not and it's coming from every angle.

So weirdly enough I'm pretty sure in my context, an overcast day is better than a sunny day actually 🤣🤣🤣

Articulate? This the trainwreck thread! We don’t need no articulate in these parts.🤓

Over here winter sun makes my eyes squint from the brightness and it doesn’t do that the same during the day. Now sunset and sunrise will blind you to the point you can’t see what color the traffic signal is.

oh man, pork sick is the worst sick. Any time ive ever been sick after eating pork, its been BRUTAL. The only gut sick i've ever had worse then a bad pork sick was Jardia from beaver crap water at a rainbow gathering. (pretty sure ive had salmonella a couple times from lunch meats, ham specifically, and i know ive been thrown straight to the dirt by undercooked pork a few times too)

We're about 8 miles from the coast so our June Gloom is a nasty thing here. Maybe further inland it wouldn't be so bad but that shit really blocks the sun but does allow uv which doesn't equate with growth, unfortunately.

I'd love to be in Tennessee on the side of a mountain. Looked at a lot of places there & near Charlotte in the hills above.

Too late now, we're gonna get older and die here BUT we all have to adjust to the conditions we're given. That's what differentiates a true gardner to someone who just grows things😉

What’s a rainbow gathering and what is jardia? I am also confused about the beaver crap?

So I hear tales about trim jail being horrible...

A lot of work but I've got my wife taking 2 every morning and she's feeling better. We all need to be taking these every morning and a THC one for those retired among us😘

Jardia is a gut infection caused by a bacteria that comes from beaver shit contaminated water.

A rainbow gathering is about 10,000 dirty hippies all camping in the woods together smoking pot, eating food, and eating lots of acid.

Its fun for a few minutes, but then it isnt.

If you get some pinhead crickets from the pet store and feed her well, as well as give her just a trickle of phosphorus and potassium in the root zone (like 100ppm and very infrequently) and you stick her under good light on a vegging cannabis schedule, she'll shoot out flower stalk like a footlong with beautiful pink flowers at the end of it. Those grow natively not too awful far from where I'm at right now lol. Bout a 4 hour drive into South Carolina. There's a couple places in South Carolina that you can still go watch droves of those things flower when conditions are ideal.

(Fun fact, fly traps aren't a tropical rainforest thing, they are literally from South Carolina lol)

Heads up you don't ever want the sphagnum to dry out with those, but you also don't want standing water sitting on the roots iirc. I'm sure you're already aware of that but you do not want to follow the instructions on the case of a fly trap bought at home Depot that's for sure.
