Havent seen any mantis here lately unfortunately.
But there's a nice lizard and a froggy hanging out between my calabacines.
The froggy made his house under a tile.

Smell is changing a bit, more sweet and less gas, still delicious.

Here they are called mariposa colibrí, the colibri butterfly.
Saw one yesterday evening, so beautiful.
Very hard to make a good pic, they move too fast.

Only was able to make one clear pic in the last decade.

Great, nice to know the thread is still being read.
I wouldnt recommend holiday now, its just too bloody hot...feels like an oven, always does in August.

@Poekie sorry if i missed this! What device are you using to capture!? I’ve stated it before around here, the fam and I are wanting a “nice” camera for our adventures, and I would LOVE (almost a non negotiable criteria) for it to have some sort of macro function : ) I know Sunin is rocking a nice unit IIRC : ) want to join the club! I have been taking pictures since I was a young child! I love “the art” of photography but also just like capturing moments! I used instagram years ago but that site has gone to complete dog shit and isn’t about photography anymore (if it really ever was lol). Thanks!
