Throw a little late flower phosphorous dropout at a purple calyx pheno like that, you get all sorts of wild color and terp arrangements.

See them fan leaves? They either dropped out her phosphorous or got her reeeeaaaal cold for several nights to add some extra pop to her collar lol.

I’ve had trichomes that were slippery rather than sticky before on an inzane inda membrane, it was weird. I know that too quick of a dry at lower humidity and higher temps can trap moisture inside the bud. The exterior will feel dry but the inside will be wet, and often leads to mold. I usually hang dry for a minimum of 14 days to be sure. Only plant I ever had mold was the blue sunset sherbet, those buds took forever to finish drying more than the normal 14 days and I still had an issue.

Definitely. I’m curious to see how @Captspaulding does with his, I think mine was organic soil and I could’ve used a little top dress around week four or five but instead just ran with it. I’m not the most organized with my record keeping unfortunately so older grows and techniques are kinda going off post on here or memory.

That blue sunset sherbet is your pic?

I missed something then lmao

I was just adding some info that those are two ways you could pull color like that from a purple calyx pheno. Cool tastes and smells too. Someone might stumble across that info and find it interesting.

If you can't put some cold on them you can actually do the same thing by dropping out the phosphorus in the last week or two of flower.

Cold makes processing phosphorus very difficult for plants. That's why it does cool color and terp stuff.

I don't actually consider late flower phosphorus deficiency a bad thing at all. Whatever cold nights due to flavors is fantastic for one lol. It's kind of part of the natural life cycle of a lot of plants too. Sugar production and phosphorus deficiency (more of a fallout/lockout then actual deficiency with cold) is why sugar maples turn such a brilliant purple when it gets cold

There was a woman in Phoenix called Melanie i was growing really close to several years ago. Moved in with her for a while. Went to visit family before christmas in KC, and she went to this party a friend of her's was throwing while i was gone. A fresh bag of coke got busted out. 3/7 died after it was passed around. One was melanie. Fentanyl. No one had Narcan there, because no one there did heroine.

Long story short, Only ever went back for services, and this is the story of how i Landed in KC after Phoenix for a while before i moved back here.

White powdered substances.... Very dangerous. Sorry for the downer post.
I may catch some flak for saying this - but maybe they should enforce the death penalty for anyone caught selling or trafficking large amounts of fentanyl. Those people murder more people than anyone. And I'm not talking about the dude on the corner trying to feed his kids any way he can - I'm talking the dudes that supply the street dealers and especially the ones cutting that fuckin shit into other drugs and selling it as something it is not.

As a former seriously fucked up heroin addict, that's just how I feel about it. I've seen so many lives ruined/destroyed/ended because of that stuff. It's really sad.

Now I think he thought you were talking about the PBB XCMAN, I grew the blue sunset sherbet and, he just popped seeds of the same strain. I wasn’t using nutrients when I grew her I think it was a three gallon fabric pot with equal parts peat/perlite/ewc and Gaia green amendments, only top dressed once after I flipped her. She could have used another top dress around week four but I pushed her too far off the available nutrients after flip.

Im pretty sure in this instance, coulda been as simple as a careless or fucked up dealer weighing the wrong bag of white powder out and sending it off to a Christmas party.

I try not to attribute malice where simple stupidity is more likely to blame. But that's not also to say someone in that situation should not suffer consequences for being so careless that it costs many other people their lives. I'm not part of that circle, never really talked to any of them after. But knowing what I know about that circle, that's likely what happened... And dude probably suffered some consequences even if not by law. 👍
