not sure what they are but i'd be getting sticky traps fast.
i also use a product called aquabac, misquito bits in grandular form and just shake some onto soil before i water.
works great for fungus gnats but not sure what those are.
can't hurt though.
pardon the spelling

Possibly springtails but I'll let someone with direct experience with them give a definitive answer. If it IS springtails you're fine. They eat bad critters. 👍

more like some aphids/mites....
what are the symptoms of decline?
greets

Soil mites?

Get some yellow sticky traps and put several near soil. Crush up some mosquito bits and soak in water overnight, the bits won’t dissolve but the active ingredient will dissolve into water. Water plants with this mixture until well soaked. You can sprinkle DE on top but it only works when dry and I feel it clogs soil drainage, so I don’t use it. If you see pests on your plants, Jacks Deadbug will kill them.

Soil mites looks like to me use some DE to control them and keep the pot clean I wiped my pot with iso to kill what was on the pot

I did a little looking and found this….
Root aphids are small, soft-bodied insects that feed on the roots of plants. They are usually black or green in color and have long antennae. Soil mites are much smaller than root aphids and are reddish-brown or yellow in color. They have short antennae and small eyes. Both root aphids and soil mites produce a sticky secretion which they use to attach themselves to plants.

Soil mites are tiny creatures that inhabit the soil. They're also sometimes referred to white soil mites. They help to break down organic material and are important in the healthy growth of plants. There are many different kinds of soil mites, and it can be difficult to identify them without a microscope.

Soil mites are creatures that live in the soil. They eat bacteria, fungus, and other small organisms. Soil mites can also inflict a range of harm on outdoor plants, from reducing their growth rate to causing plant death. They are tiny creatures that feed on plant sap and can cause damage to plant roots and leaves.

There are also beneficial predatory mites that people pay good money for too 😆 I've introduced hypoaspis miles (mites) and a few others over the years to help with various plant eating pets.

I included a link to some from arbico up above, they've been living amongst my rove beetles I got from them years back. Cant remember the last fungus gnat I've seen in that tent.
