YesAny signs of fungus gnats recently?
I would bet those mites are preying on the gnat larvae. Def catch the flyers since the mites are going after the young stuff in the soil.
So am I but I can still roll on when I want to….aphids are generally slow moving
There are also beneficial predatory mites that people pay good money for tooSoil mites are creatures that live in the soil. They eat bacteria, fungus, and other small organisms. Soil mites can also inflict a range of harm on outdoor plants, from reducing their growth rate to causing plant death. They are tiny creatures that feed on plant sap and can cause damage to plant roots and leaves.
I included a link to some from arbico up above, they've been living amongst my rove beetles I got from them years back. Cant remember the last fungus gnat I've seen in that tent. There are also beneficial predatory mites that people pay good money for tooI've introduced hypoaspis miles (mites) and a few others over the years to help with various plant eating pets.
