Anyone have experience propagating dwarf Japanese maple trees? Got about 80 seed pods off the small 16” branch I took, then scalped the bottom of about 4 small cuts and I stuck em in a glass of water on the windowsill I’d love to get a ton of these started in the lab downstairs, they sell for a fortune I’ve never had luck taking cuttings off trees, not sure if these will even root, most likely need to be grafted onto healthy Rootstock, but I wonder if I can get the seeds to sprout and grow

You are venting the heat into the tent?

No there’s a vent in the wall above the tent that the AC is tapped into it just runs over the top of the tent to the wall

In the winter I vent the tent exhaust outside instead

We don’t heat the basement just heat from the wood stove upstairs usually stays around 65 in the winter let’s me get those cold lights out temps to bring out the colors

Moms Random sunflower F1 hybrids. Gonna be even crazier next year

She grew black oil next to some Mexican sunflowers and a Russian mammoth last year but just kept the seeds from the black oil, and so this happened

My friend has his dad’s old hand crank machine and every year we make ice-cream when we go camping! This year the fire here fucked that all up so we did at there house in his den! he let my youngest son help mix everything and the vanilla got like tripled per the recipe and it was THE BEST vanilla ice cream I have ever had! He crushed Oreos for the topping

I did it to cut out the high fructose, soy's and chemicals but I should have done it for the taste and flavor year's ago! I didn't know it would be this good it's as good as any I've ever had

It took us a few recipes over the years but man when you find that one! What model is that one you have? Would you get it again?

I got this on sale for $69 I've only used it twice but it's been outstanding, doesn't need salt or ice you just freeze the tub overnight and it's good to go

Nah upstairs the whole house averages 80-84 with 2-3 logs in the stove lol, downstairs is nice and chill like I said, but great for plants, low RH easy to control… I love winter runs lol
