I've been thinking about getting a kitten/cat.
We lost our indoor/outdoor cat this past winter from old age.
She was a killer though, it wasn't uncommon for us to walk out on the porch and see her with a dead mouse, mole, or even full size rabbits!

We rescued her about 10 years ago from a local family. The families son was very violent toward her. He was caught several times choking her, trying to drown her in the bath tub, and even shot her a couple times with a BB gun.
The last thing he tried to do to the cat was catch it on fire, he chased it under a bed with a match and caught the bed on fire and burnt his families house down.
After we heard how the house caught on fire and everything else that kid did to the cat, we didn't give the family an option other then giving us the cat. It was either that or some phone calls were going to be made because I absolutely can not stand people who abuse animals.

Lost my last outdoor kitty from rat poison. 3 yr old shaking and dying. Nothing i could do. Nasty. Didn't like. Do not recommend😥

Well I couldn't help it and after 5 1/2 days had to see what was going on with my seed. I carefully uncovered and found a broken tap root, idk if it just dropped it or was the result of me uncovering it. It grew a tiny bit since I planned it buy nowhere near where it should of been at this point.

Idk if it was just a bad seed, the drop in the sink when I was transferring it, or if the hype of the contest made me overlook something.
I eneded up putting it in some wet paper towels, just to see if it will do anything but I doubt it. I've never broken a tap root so idk if they can still grow or not.

Luckily I started a White Runtz x Okie yesterday, I don't really have room for it if they both made it but I wasn't feeling very confident on my original seed. Sucks being behind a week buy what can you do.

Had to laugh at that first sentence! 🤣. Mad face to Sid and Heart face to taking the cat! Thats insane!!!😳 yeah absolutely no excuse for that kind of shit! Our county takes that shit really seriously! You’ll find your ass in jail real quick! People love breaking windows around here for dogs in hot cars (which im all for) but you damn best know what your letting out 😂 my dog would be less than impressed if someone other than me or fam opened HIS door lol!!!

Damn! Well i was rooting around mine like a day after I put it in the solo😂 im sure you’re not surprised right? lol. Well now im tripping after you told me about the light smoking the seedlings at 50%😳 the first set of true leaves are on and are a little lighter in color around the edges. I moved it way away from that light. It’s totally stretching out and growing im just not sure if im giving it too much light 🤣 it also doesnt help im super high at the moment so thinking about it makes my trip harder! 🤦‍♂️

At least you got that runtz going! : ) smart move 👍

@Newty I feel ya. But you can use it as motivation and you never know how things will turn out. The last couple of years my neighbor has been 2 weeks to a month ahead of me. He already had clones going this before I planted a seed. It motivates me. These pics are from today. The first 2 are my neighbor's grow started about a month ahead of mine. The last one is mine.
