Hey farmers ! so I am kinda still new to the growing but I have done a lot of research and reading. This is my best year by far but I have a few questions. I’m pretty sure I planted these plants too close together not thinking they would get as big as they did. They are just starting to show sign of pre flower today is week 13 from germination. What should I do to thin them out so more sunlight hits them. Or should I just leave them beThese are feminize strawberry Kush. I had to put a cage around them because my branches kept breaking. I’ve tied some of the branches up to help support it. I’m using Old cow compost for my soil and have only been giving it water and plant fish food 5-1-1

They were started inside in may and went outside June 17th

I lnow what you mean. I didn't expect some of mine to get so tall either. Nice work! 😎

Have you considered defoliating?

Live and learn as the saying goes. I can't think of anything you can do for those other than removing branches that don't amount to much. You need to carefully look between the plants and see " what can i live without " and wack some off. Kinda scarey but i got no other answers.

I have took off allot of the bottom branches and shade leaves. Anything that I don't think will make it to the top I have been snipping off.

sense they just started pre flower stage, do you think if I got a tresill net and put it up above the plant, lets say 2" let them grow though the tresill to try to make it all even, then start walking branches?? or will it be to late in the flower stager them to recover by time they make it though the net.

This was from today. The SK “big ones” are going into preflower. And definitely could definitely use more room! Hard lesson learned. The smaller plants are just some random feminized seeds that are doing good but not nearly as big and doing everything the same.

So I took your guys advice, and tried to defoliate my plants. I took quit a bit off the poor girls! It was making me cringe! Hopefully they appreciate it and they take off

What on earth is one man gonna do with all that great Bud??
I’d start looking for some help at harvest or it’s gonna be a long lonely sentence to serve in trim jail.
