seems like for this challenge i think every ones kinda surprised of the failure rate, i know i am, i planted 6 & only 2 popped, before this i had an about 90% success rate, is this 1 gallon challenge cursed, lol...
So I watch these YouTube videos by a guy named Bill Ward , and in his most recent video he also mentions how his germination rates have dropped substantially as of late. So my monkey brain sees this happening personally in my own grow, on this forum, which has people checking in from not just the United States but other countries around the world, and it’s happening to a YouTube channel guy in Canada. What the F@&$ is going on? Are we experiencing a global phenomenon? Has the agricultural industry started to experience a decline in germination rates too? Or is it a cannabis problem? These are the valid questions and concerns. I’m hoping it’s not a serious issue and that there’s a simple explanation.

I like that guy Bill Ward
I’ve learned a lot watching his videos over the years, was the first example of low stress training that I ever followed and implemented in my own grows. I don’t use pipe cleaners anymore though, I found that they’re prone to losing fibers in your weed 😳 I’m already smoking cat hair I don’t need polyester fumes in my lungs too 🤣

I reckon it could be a bit of that but I also think It could be that we are all so into this contest and being able to show what we can do (or in my case just not look completely stupid) that we are doing little things that we wouldn’t normally do to give our plants the best chance of showing off. And this could be throwing things off?

I know I’ve done a couple things different this time, like adding mychorizie to the water I soaked the paper towel in. And I propagated directly on a heat mat to try and germinate quicker, where as I would normally use a buffer between the mat and propagator.

Just a thought 🤔

One of the best 30 seconds in television history 😍
I was a late bloomer with the office but have since fixed that! When I got to this scene my heart felt what Michael acted! I loved it so much! This show is part of the mental illness re run background noise of our house! 🤣 ❤️

“Reginald Pooftah”🤷🏼‍♂️🤣 fucking dead every time I think of it! 🤣

I got the tent set up today. I would like to drop the temp a little or raise the humidity but my warm air humidifier won’t allow it. I do have a tower cold air one I may set up in my lung room and see if that helps. Not sure if I’m going to vent it in or just set it up next to the tent. View attachment 2245624
I love the Controller 69, I have 4 of them so if you ever need help with settings or anything just let me know!!!

Temp and Humidity are pretty good for seedlings and some of veg, VPD is within veg range as well.
I would want to try and lower that humidity throughout the veg stage.

If anything, I would try to lower the temp.
What light are you using and on what dimmer setting?
Do you have an air conditioner? If not, you will probably need one when it's time to flower, you will be turning up light intensity and it's going to get even hotter.

I personally don't let me tents go above 78 degrees and 55% humidity after the seedling stage, 45% humidity closer to the end of veg.
