also may be worth mentioning. I start seedlings that will move outside on 16/8 not 18/6. When i reference timing thats something ive always done for clones, and worth drawing that distinction becuse i do them both differently.

And All my clones back in KC destined for outdoor were all vegged at 16/8 timed as close to i could to the clock schedule of the days around the Summer solstice, and always moved them outside during the dark period. Never once saw a revegged clone in KC. But i did have sativas finishing by the end of september with no reveg lol. The few seedplants i ran were all put out in the end of april as tiny seedlings much like i did this spring. I believe just for power saving though, i was always on 16/8 for veg regardless. I still am now too. Never saw reveg then or now either. Thats why i felt behind way back in May. Ive just never grown F1s from seed from spring and was not prepared for the growth rates a few of em expressed so i already felt behind lol.

Where you live, getting em out that early isnt always gonna be an option i know. But it shouldnt matter what the daylight hour count is, so long as theyve already been used to days getting longer by the time they sexually mature.

Thats why im defaulting to just sharing information, rather then telling you what i would do in your shoes lol. Ive never personally grown that far north. And my cousins just put large clone plants out around the solstice. KC may finish the season similar to SW michigan, but it does not start the same lol.

I hear ya same at my parents house haha last time was oh I knew you’d be coming to see your sister and neice I didn’t want you to have to come twice… can you replace these 4 downspouts lol

With my ex fiance, wasn't really her ever giving me a to do list. But she lived at an aprtment complex right adjacent her moms house, so every time i was there and her mom saw my car sitting out...

I didn't mind to help do things, but it really did seem like every time i went over there i was making a quick store run or fixing something. Weeding something, trimming something, mowing something. But im allowed to bitch about it now, because im not with her daughter anymore, and i never asked to be payed but she also never offered 🤣 Said yea a couple times and got trapped. She had this one scowl man, and i didnt like seeing it if i could avoid it lmao.

With mom its very different. Ill always do what i can to help out. Mostly because its satisfying, rewarding. And she hurts less. I dont wanna seem like i was complaining about that.
