What do your soil mixtures consist of?I'm amazed that there's still moisture in the soil at that temperature. I have one of mine in a 20 gallon, give her 2-3 gallons of water a day, and the soil is bone dry by 5pm. Same with the one I have in ground as well. Over watering never crosses my mind in July and August. So yeah that's interesting to me.
Damn, shes tall! What are its known strains?
In the ground I layered some compost, earthworm castings, bone and blood meal, bat guano, and layered in between with pearlite and the native soil. I even cover the ground with straw mulch to slow the evaporation. What do your soil mixtures consist of?
I like planting in the ground and using an abundance of moisture retaining material. Even when I tried holding back to promote root growth the plants didn't show any signs of moisture deficiency. Although its not the best practice it can be helpful if done carefully. Essentially it can stress out the thing.
Using humus and worm castings and nice fluffy composted soil along with compost in abundance. Usually holds moisture fairly well. I feel a need to water every other day as normal routine.
Mj roots grow shallow and the bigger that span of root mass gets the better. But they can still uproot easily in strong wind. Since packing the soil down is a bad idea.
Yeah, sounds like mites. It's inevitable.I noticed funny looking "spots" on the lowest couple branches. I'm going to guess it was past bug damage, not sure. I'm behind on plant diagnosis. It is a good thing of course I'm not complaining.
Its more of a curiosity at this point than a worry. I will follow up on close image of the spots I mention by this afternoon.
I misplaced the images I made on the matter. But this is the girl showing those alements ( she's the other thin tree's "twin". Plant #1 and #5 share similar phenotypes #5). The x-mas tree pheno. I guess shes about 6.5 ft. at this point. The initial stretch seems to be slowing down some.

20 gallon should take around 6 gallons of water..I'm amazed that there's still moisture in the soil at that temperature. Ahh that's probably it. Instead of the 6 gallons every 2 days, I'm giving them 3 every day. If anything it helps keep them cooled down when it's 90+ out.20 gallon should take around 6 gallons of water..
I went out with my loupe and the trics are looking cloudy. What are your's looking like? The lady is looking good. We're getting to time of year you want things tied up especially when you know they'll be heavy.
When I throw the flash on the camera the buds pop much better ;-).
