Well I took your advice @Deadstill and bought a bottle (<$20). I've thanked you before but I'll do it again. Heavy infestations may take a 2nd dose 3 days apart but catch those critters early and it's one and done.So happy you tried it! *Everyone* should have some of this stuff in their toolbox. I keep pushing it on everyone like a crack dealer from the 80s, but not everyone listens, ending up with burnt plants from alcohol and spider mites that keep coming back
Seriously if folks knew how well that shit really works they'd just be like "spider mites? Who cares those are easy to get rid of". Instead of folks accusing folks of things and folks turning into little rats... But that's another story..![]()
Be very careful usinf alcohol on cannabis leaves. About 2 in 10 plants will burn all to hell after more then 1 treatment and she damage will never heal either. I strongly recommend avoiding alcohol entirely.Trying to fend off some bugs .
50-50 water ISO 45 mins before lights out.
Critique welcome

Yeah not a fan of using alcohol on plants - at all. I mean it can help keep fusarium at bay on clones but that's about the extent of my use for alcohol. Not even for cleaning grow rooms. Bleach all the way, only thing that will kill viri, as well.@BB22
@Rama777
One of the results of using alcohol is the death of cystolithic trichomes too. Which hugely increases your chances of developing powdery mildew at least outside lol. Dead sister Olympic tri comes at one of the biggest triggering factors for powdery mildew and molds at least outside that I know of. That's why cucumbers and stuff are so susceptible as the season goes on. The number of dead cystolithic trichomes
Always test and double check individual leaves before you treat an entire plant with alcohol, regardless of phenotype, or even species lol.
I fixed the video upload. There was a main video and quick follow up. Accidentally only posted the follow up lolB

I had to replace one earlier this year and the words that burned like fire in my mouth when it came out to $180.00....Can't believe the price of batteries today. Had to replace the one in my work truck a few years ago $200+ WTF?

If you wanna see what even 1part alcohol 5 part water can do to some plants, my Tammy plants can show you lol. And I did that specifically so I can have my own example to show some of the next time alcohol spraying came back up. Actually made the example for @Rama777
You can use alcohol in a pinch, but always rest the same leaf of a plant twice letting dry in between before you use it on the whole plant. Always. More often than not you'll be totally fine. When it's not totally fine you will do major unrepairable damage to a plant. Major. Humid conditions make it far more likely to happen too.
Alcohol works for bugs and stuff. But I personally strongly recommend against it for cannabis specifically.
Will be back in just a bit with a pic lol. I alcohol'd some lower less.important leaves out at the patch a couple weeks ago with 50% iso diluted to 20, hell on sensitive ones 10% alcohol on their surface too long will damage them visibly after some time, figured I'd have at least some damage from it. Was not wrong. Pics when I get back up from the patch after my coffee lol
P.s. even plants that look fine have been damaged by the alcohol, it's a partially polar solvent, it's actually chemically impossible for it to not to damage to a cannabis plant to some degree, even if it's not visible.
If you plant is still in veg, you can use pyrethrin with absolutely zero negative side effects on the plant, or you. Pretty much everything eggs and all will be dead as a door ail 5 mins after treating eggs included. It's too water insoluble to rapidly go through skin. And being around it in a grow tent is about as dangerous as handling chrysanthemums and marigolds lol.
the 20ah lithium pack in my ebike runs about $400 lmao. It's more expensive then the controller and drivetrain setup, and the only part thats not practically indestructible with proper maintenance. lol.I had to replace one earlier this year and the words that burned like fire in my mouth when it came out to $180.00....

Really im driving around every where i go with a small bomb 6 inches from by scrotum, if i wreck and puncture that battery pack, i can kiss my balls and all my leg skin goodbye lmao.
Im using name brand samsung cells. Should be pretty gravy. It would be near impossible to wreck it and puncture the battery, but not completely impossible lolWife and I spent a week in Big Bear and rented a couple ebikes. Suckers zoomed about 20mph. it'll prob be 2-3 days of light exposure before all damage, if there was any, becomes very visible. And even if there isn;t any visible, it's still there lol. Keep an eye on the serrated margins, and tissue near the tips of the leaf fingers. Only the gnarliest spots of pooled alcohol will be visibly necrotic after 24 hrs or so.
I think almost all have been strong but Sarsaparilla (Freak Genitics) has been the highest THC and sure made good caps. I use to grow a Brutis OG x Chemdog that was strong but burned out on it as it's all I grew and smoked for a few years besides dispensary buys. The Granddaddy Purple and the Blueberry Hash Plant never gets old but since I'm growing several strains all the time now I always have a choice. What is the most potent strain you have grown and from what breeder?
Mine is space panda aka Oreoz from atlas seeds so far, indoor with living soil
