Both of you were the ones that cinched my decision.

I appreciate the advice! I was infested BAD. All signs of critters were gone after the second dose.. aside from my plants looking horrific from the damage already done.

I have it in my IPM schedule now.
Agromagen needs to toss me some scrap cuz I been slangin this shit 🤣

Same hear Tumble, I'm now mite free but it took a bit. I had good success with it but since I was so far into flower I was really cautious of only spraying leaves. It was a royal pain and time consuming. I had to spray a few times because it seemed like they would retreat to the buds. The stuff works really well.
I've been spraying two massive boxwoods in my yard with it. (pretty sure thats how I brought them into my grow). The webs on the two bushes are horrible every morning, I sprayed for the 3rd time this morning and think I'm making progress.
It's part of my IPM as well now.

Good to hear you are in the clear now, Otto! I guess I got lucky considering I was only in veg. I completely covered everything.

🤣 I set up a little booth with some 3mil poly sheeting over an old frame and lots of cardboard on the floor. Stuff gets greasy.. lots of work, but it was definitely a skill set I needed improvement on anyways

Every time I make a pass in my car, the middle of my back really feels it, I was a habitual daily skateboard junkie growing up in Philly, 51-52 now and I just last year stopped when my toes kept breaking. I was a pool and half pipe rider for decades, Oh, and I was a tower climber for Alltec and AT&T for close to 20 years. That fucked up the nerves in my hands and feet something royal. So that , touring following neato sounds, skateboarding and races have all accumulated into a concentration of “hey, fuck you buddy” that I wasn’t quite ready for.
The racing I’m never quitting though. Ever.
👊🏻🤡

The tax man cometh 😂
I lived the old skate park by me when I was younger, watched a TON of people get fucked up I use to board a bit bit liked inline skates, played around on bikes there too, met Dave mirra and a ton of others when they had a comp there was fun I was like 13 and it was raining and I was squeegeeing the ramps off for them

Brought my buddy he want down the kiddie 3’ half pipe on skates first time, broke his arm in half 🤣

So happy you tried it! *Everyone* should have some of this stuff in their toolbox. I keep pushing it on everyone like a crack dealer from the 80s, but not everyone listens, ending up with burnt plants from alcohol and spider mites that keep coming back 🤷‍♂️

Seriously if folks knew how well that shit really works they'd just be like "spider mites? Who cares those are easy to get rid of". Instead of folks accusing folks of things and folks turning into little rats... But that's another story.. 🤣
I have a pic saved I plan on picking some up, I love a good IPM regimen. I usually pre treat my plants for a week before flip to be sure nothings hanging around in or on them 2-3 treatments then into the flower tent

I usually use deadbug or insecticidal soap (Captain Jacks)

Can't believe the price of batteries today. Had to replace the one in my work truck a few years ago $200+ WTF?
Tell me about it had to buy a group 86 battery (one one comparable with my truck) went to 4 places cheapest one $240 for the store brand everything else was 300+ I was like what the fuck I bought one for $129 like a year ago for my other truck

I was about to walk out and dude said he’d give it to me for $180 I was like ok no core charge I’ll change it in the lot I have tools with me he was like Ok haha

God I love living in a small town lol

Yes your right I just bought two. Like WTF? Two batteries cost almost as much as my tires .

i keep mentioning citric acid and often mention horticultural oils, but people keep reacting with what seems like mild fear lol. I went to order some of that when you mentioned it this spring, but realized what it was. Thats def VERY useful stuff though. I would usually do the same as whats in that bottle right there though.

People tell me it kill insects indiscriminately. Thats not true, but it def does make em go somewhere else. Its included in pesticides and other stuff often because it breaks down slowly and prevents rapid re-infestations once the pesticides break down, which is often very quickly, and prevents fungi from being able to germinate and grow, and will even kill actively established fungi. Some horticulture oils and citric and mites and fungi will just a be an all together non issue in most places with most plants. You only have to worry about things like beetles and grasshoppers, and even they wont stay long.

You can use some horticultural oils and citric solutions on just about any outdoor plants, even in flower if done properly and expect littloe to no bug or fungi activity all season, and you wont be killing insect indiscriminately either. Only reason im not, is so i can test my phenos for breeding purposes. The citric is very easily removed from the buds with a quick alkaline water dip and swoosh before hanging. does nothing to taste, flavor, or extracts. Citric can even kill PM once its established, and even prevent bud rot. I did set loose lots of predator mites though in overkill amounts for flower. But i had already been doing pest sensitivity checks all spring and summer.

I fixed the video upload. There was a main video and quick follow up. Accidentally only posted the follow up lol

I sacrificed a few lower fan leaves because i have to room to wiggle. Just to make a video to show people intending on using it, because of how often alcohol gets recommended here for mites. I've seen it recommended for actively flowering cannabis plants too 0.o

Even if the plant shows no visible signs of damage, alcohol has damaged it at the microscopic/cellular level. There's no way it hasn't. Impossible. It's a polarized solvent. And i absolutely have enough direct knowledge of the chemistry goin on here, to state this as fact with zero doubts at all. This is not an argument with two sides and some wishy-washy information. This is simply a fact.
Gnick 55 used it with a pretty high level of success not saying it’s right or wrong but that dude grows killer plants✌️

What is the most potent strain you have grown and from what breeder?
Mine is space panda aka Oreoz from atlas seeds so far, indoor with living soil
The most potent flower I've grown personally were plants from one of my own F2s. Most potent plants I've tested were also plants from my own crosses. Flowers I've enjoyed the most have been outdoor grown old-school sativa crosses.

(The most potent are also often not the most visibly frosty, but they often are too lol. also worth noting)

The most potent seedbank plant I've grown was probably a NL x Big Bud pheno from a freebie I got from Herbie's when I ordered some seedsman Afghani regs waaaaaay back in the day lmao. I had a delaHazeand a dutch kush from paradise that were absolutely exceptional. Truly consider grade flowers. Probably the most end-smoker potent seedbank plants I've grown you can still get today.

Back then at least, ordering cheap seed from reputable breeders usually did you better then ordering expensive seed from obscure breeders and banks. Idk of that hold true today or not.

It works just fine. But it's also going to burn leaves on some plants regardless of dilution. And there's no way it's not doing damage even if you don't see it. Def worth knowing. Not being shitty or trying to be a contrarian lol, and gnick does grow absolutely killer plants. He's got some I reaaaaaally want tbh lmao. All of these things have been facts lol.

My plants with a bit of alcohol burn are gonna do just fine. And it def killed pests 👍
