The columbian is from rainforest mountains. It would take moisture like a champ. It would frost bite before it molded. It had a cola structure that just let all the moisture out as it came down the main stems.

This isnt nute burn and phosphourous deficiency. It's frost burn and cold induced phosphorous lockout from growing it outside in Kansas City lmao.

When i snapped this pic right before cut, it was like 4am and like 37f (idr, but it was cold and rained, then we got a frost warning lol) and rained the day before. Even managed to get tiny streaks of purple to some calyxes on her. Expected rot in her flowers every time, but it never came. (to be fair she only got run outside 3x lol)
I would love ,love to get my hands on this strain!! I get hit hard with botrytis every year...do u have any spare beans sir??

that one was the wild columbian land race. I had to make crosses because i just couldnt economically finish a plant that starts flowering in july, and can flower through christmas lol. Indoors it was probably a 16wk plant. I dont have that clone anymore sadly.

I did make a cross with it though with a highly desirable sativa dom F1 though. The plants i call the Peaceblasters are that cross. I have 4 distinct phenos at the moment. have like 23 distinct female phenos across about a dozen lineages.

Once everything is tallied this fall ill be deciding which phenotypes will be getting feminized s1s, which of my reg crosses will be getting developed into new feminized lineages etc etc.

After this fall/winter ill have a hell of a selection of seeds from nearly pure sativa through nearly pure indica and just about every stop in between.

I can definitely put you on the list for fem S1s if ya see something in my patch you particularly like. If you see something out there you think youd partcularly like a fem cross to hunt your own phenos or something, of or something, i can put it on the list. Ill have something like 14 different Regular F1 crosses immediately after fall if you want the lowest hermie chances possible and to just pull males. Fem stuff coming afterward

Yeah. I will def appreciate it if u put me on list..but we have a limit of 4 plants in my state..so I like feminized beans.Ive had really great success with Acapulco gold,,as far as potency and taste..but it is so susceptible to mold that I usually lose a third of crop..even when I put up plastic sheeting,,it helps for sure. But I still get botrytis on some.ibgrew a chocolope plant a few years ago that did not get any mold. But the potency and taste was not up to par.ibwish there was something that I could spray on plants to innoculate it against the rot.ive used pure crop one for bugs and it says it stops botrytis, but in my experience it will not work that well in stopping the mold.video is this year's crop...this one plant is 2cweeks ahead of the others and really sticky and greasy..it's going to be special if I can get it to the finish line

Holy crap Bud deer season opener or turkey?

Your plants are looking pretty healthy and right to the power lines holy crap they’re tall
Yeah. Like I don't know what happened this year. It's like all the plants were on steroids..I literally went out there end of July and cut 3 of em in half. There at 14 ft now..just wayyyy more than I thought they would grow...I was reading an article I saw that said thT because of increased CO2,,that the earth is greening up.not sure if that is the cause,,or I'm just seeing good results cause I got my garden dialed in after 5 years.wevevhad a drought here this summer ,,and this strain seems to love dry weather

I'll put you on the list for PB1 and mystery sativa s1's. Pb1s a giant Columbian dominant tree of a plant. 13ft tall, bout 15ft wide. Open, very sativa. Expecting her to prob be one of, if not my mold mold resistant plant tbh. All bubblegum in her smell rn. Deeeeep bubble gum. Think hubba bubba not juicy fruit lol

Also got this mystery lineage sativa I'm just calling the unicorn. Nearly pure sativa, fast flowering too. Expecting similar mold/rot resistance from her. All I know about this one is it came from a commercial growers working with my Columbian, Thai land races, as well as Mexican and old haze lineages. Could be anything really.

Had I not cut this one back 2x thru summer to keep PB1 in the sun, she's be my biggest plant by far.

Very skunky and resiny smell currently

I'm also going to stabilize a fem lineage between these two plants. Prob take it to f8-f11 for breeding stability.

Looks straight sativa,,yeah I would really appreciate it if u would let me know when I can get some of those beans...I won't be able to grow it out till next season..but I e been really hunting mold/ rot resistant strains to try out..I'm so tired of coming out to my garden and seeing the telltale shriveled fan leaf that says ,,," Botrytis here" lolo.

I won't know for certain til I harvest of course. But I could take the Columbian itself to first frost without treating. She just kept a leaf and bud structure that lets the water go right through. That, falling into flower in July, and the flower structure are the biggest traits that Columbian had to offer. And most were passed on to all the offspring too. All but that 16+ week flowering time 🤷‍♀️. (Although pheno #3, much like the Columbian fell into flower in July, but also much like the Columbian is just snail pacing it from there lol)

Your garden is definitely on steroids if you’ve cut them back already. I can see cracks in your soil dry is great it gives you control of your feedings I only wish buddy

All my plants got bigger then i expected this year. But ive also only really had a history of putting out clones in June though. Back in the day here i was growing little afghans and NL's and stuff. Back in KC was all June clones, only a couple seed plants and never gave them the attention they deserved.

This was really the first year i focused predominantly on outdoor growing. Planted early, with sativa dom F1s from seed. I knew they would be more impressive then the clones, especially being F1s, but i greatly underestimated how much more impressive then clones they would be. If i hadnt cut that mystery sativa back a couple times (first time near to the ground) shed probably be over 15ft tall and like 20ft wide 😳 and thats after being topped several times too.

im gonna have a few acres of flat field at my disposal next season. And ill def be putting the PB1 and mystery sativa back out with enough room to breathe. Im going to use an untopped mystery sativa S1 to attempt to break the 24 ft 1in hemp/cannabis world record height. And i dont plan on beating that record, i plan on making it look bad.

Gonna do a 50gal in ground coco pit with a constant 24/7 600-800ppm bottle nutrient drip. PLant steadied with some sort of scaffolding

current record tallest cannabis plant. Pretty pitiful if you ask me lol.
