Wondering if I should top these or what can I do to let the two smaller ones, and lower branches catch up and to Increase my top canopy. I’m so hesitant to cut these tops off. But I don’t have a ton of vertical space. Off I do top them, how far down should I go? Or should I just let them go and let them grow naturally so I can keep the main tops? Would it be better to have larger but less main tops? Or more but smaller tops? I just can’t make the call

I would recommend it. They are getting stretchy. Once you flip the plants will increase 2-3x in height. That could become a problem and it will encourage more branching.

You can also bend them over LST style. It’s simple less invasive and it coax’s out more top sites by exposing lower internodal growth to the availability of light. but at the same time I would top it too, and when you should stop topping a plant, is all about grow area. Strain genetic variation and its height relative to a well controlled microclimate.
But you really can a make these plants do what you want, overall having topping and lst in the back pocket is where it’s at. Always try to play to a strains strength and vigor.
Learning some simple cannabis chiropractic techniques is def a good thing if you run tents or an enclosed area. Leading to another way I like to control plants that waaaaay over stretch my intended finishing heights.
It’s a bit old school like this clown right here, but super cropping is definitely handy for a few things. Indoors it’s very usable to take it unwieldy plant and put it back into the lights footprint if it grows outside of it or isn’t getting an optimal amount of light exposure every day and it also exposes all of the nodes on whichever stalk you need to bend to the light and that can actually bring along some explosive growth and big ass buds, also if you pop a clean knuckle on at the fulcrum of te cropped pinch point it improves uptake. outdoor application is solely about explosive growth. Unleashes head room is an issue….i know it’s a lot but def all stuff you need to be studying a bit. 👊🏻🤡

Oh, and homie @RootFarmer
Nailed it.

Thanks for all the info. I’ve never tried lst before. I’d have to think of a crafty way to tie down the bent branches but I’m sure I can get some explosive growth with these In this aero setup they are growing fast. They went to this size from freshly rooted clones with no node development, to this in one week. Even more amazed at how fast and big the roots have grown. Also my first time using LED light and I’m highly impressed so far with this one. Still would like to see what kind of flower it can produce compared to the HPS I’ve always used.

You think i should just pinch the tips off or go down a couple nodes and just lop off the top few inches?

If vertical space is limited, topping can help manage height and encourage lower branches to catch up. You can top just above the node where you want more growth. More but smaller tops often lead to a fuller canopy, but if you prefer fewer, larger tops, you might let them grow naturally. It’s a balance between space and yield preference!
