Three times on the way home from the market I had to stop for gaggles of turkeys in the road, twice I had to stand on the brakes 😡 Here's a pic of a few of them wandering around the road as I sit there and wait for them to get the hell out of it 🤷🏻 biggest problem down the beach was the occasion seagull

Share the road!!! Slow down and pay attention! It’s not gonna kill you to get home five minutes later than you would have!!!!! Signed… Turkey, lover! Sounds like you still have pretty good reflexes for an old coot! A gaggle of turkeys? Ha, ha, ha ha ha!

Freaking baby turkeys everywhere, there's dozens of them!

I see one or two toms on the side of the road & next thing I know the woods are alive with a swarm of them running out into the road 🤷🏻

and they don't know what to do once they get there, they run around in every direction until a Tom comes and gets them back into the woods, it would be funny to watch if I hadn't just skidded to a stop 😡

Have seen groups of them here and there since I've been here but haven't seen it like this before! At least now I know

Good sign for turkey hunters! A lot of people live for turkey season! Get all Camouflaged and sit out there, calling for hours! Tom’s gonna be pretty wary just like those bucks. All of the poults Around here are growing up and about, ready to get the boot!

I don't know what the deal is up here but I've seen more than a few single-car-into-tree type accidents here

Maybe deer run out, I don't know, but there's quite a few people hitting trees, and in good weather, and a lot of them are in the daytime. These people were ok.

Yesterday! Johnny hockey and his brother, we’re in town for his sister’s wedding! Out, riding bikes! Sounds like some drunk just plowed right over them! Killed the shit out of them! Just brutal!🤬🤬🤬😭😭

Totally sucks, my county leads the state in pedestrian deaths. My advice, if on Long Island, don’t ride a bike or walk within 20’ of the side of the road. I was getting running lights installed on my motorcycle, left it in my friends shop. I walked back in the afternoon, about a 20 minute walk, almost run over by a school bus. Fucking cars have no regard for people walking, it’s safer riding a motorcycle then walking.

Wow a lot of this going on, last week I saw a video of an Amazon driver who ran over a mother pushing her baby in a carriage IN A CROSSWALK

She got out of the car, put the baby back in the carriage and left the scene of the accident, fortunately they were able to track her down, probably not much will happen to her though.

Edit to add the baby was okay the mother had some brain swelling but is supposed to be all right as well
