You should’ve said the soundtrack from deliverance, Captain!🤪 What if in fact. I’m from around here? Then what Cletus the crusty penis. that movie would have been entirely different in my case. Clowns don’t “squeal.” We steal your watch. 🎉

Forgot about the small clones of OJ x BB 3 I put out. Can tell by the look and smell it's #3 now not #2.

Just gave a pre-emptive copper spraying post monsoon to hopefully prevent septoria infection while it buds out. Should be early enough in flower to not harm anything too much bud structure wise. Hopefully I'll still get a chance to try a clean example of that lemon pine 🍋🌲

The big OJ x BB 3 is real sensitive to all the fungi. She's fighting on hard, she's a trooper, but man she's getting fucked up by the septoria, among other things looks like.
IMG 20240901 163541810

She's def hanging in there. But she looking rough lmao.
IMG 20240901 163547242

No physical damage, but Def gonna have to do something about this after she stands herself back up though lmao. Shed be sturdier if she hadn't been pruned back so much in veg.

Expected chaos on the Big PB1. But she's just kinda standing there un-phased sayin "come at me bro 😈"

I prob should have netted the mystery sativa. But I got lazy.

So yea, I'ma take a stance on the Tammy plants. That's cookies structure on 1 and 3. I'm 99.9% sure. The smell on all three is very coffee. Intense coffee. Def cookies crosses. I know them coffee terps and that derpy half-baked stem structure anywhere 🤣

Man i swear, it rains and most my plants look like wet poodles. All wet and sad. But not the columbian hybrids. They vibe after rain more like a Labrador that just chased its ball off the dock at the lake, and now it's shaking the water all over you with a smile on it's face.

Im all wet and annoyed now, the biggs is a mess, those OJBB's look like they've been throttled. But the peaceblasters still look just as happy as they were yesterday and the day before. They're weren't even drooping. Fan leaves standing proud proud like the sun's out 😍 💚

No, I meant longitude! A certain latitude on the East Coast is a hell of a lot different than the same latitude on the West Coast! And everywhere in between is different! Actually, they are kind of a moot point! You’re stuck with the climate that you have! Regardless of latitude and longitude! And you make the best of it! About the only thing that doesn’t change is the hours of light when you’re talking latitude!
Yea man we have some VAST differences from Florida to Maine on the east coast. Weather wise

Thats what I was waiting for! Theyre starting to connect, those are gonna look beatiful and need some support maybe hahaha. Theyre looking frosty too! Nightime is the best time to appreciate the trichomes reflecting light.

@Captspaulding i dedicate this post to you my brother.

It's Puddles doing Dio with Primus. It's reality shattering levels of fuck yes. He does some of the best Dio wails ive heard anywhere too.

i was making the point that longitude just has zero bearings on when a plant goes into flower, thats all latitude, longitude indeed plays a serious role in when your harvest season ends though, but has absolutely no impact on when it starts. And that altitude over surrounding landscape also impacts both. Even your distance from the ocean, east and west, works differently on each side of the country thanks to the ocean currents and prevailing westerly winds you tend to have over the usa.

My harvest season start and end, where im at latitude and longitude wise + altitude, has me in the northeaster missouri, illinois, iowa kinda zone photoperiod wise. But i also dont really have twighlight hours, its dark like 30 mins after the last direct sun is on my tallest plants. Season end is just based on averages season to season though, and here the one thing you never get is the average. It tends to be wet in the fall here like the PNW too, ive just had an abnormally dry harvest season so far.

May not really look like it on a map, but latitude wise im as far noth as NorCal/Souther oregon. Damn near as far east as toronto canada lol. And i have a photoperiod like the southern mid west, just minus all the extended twighlight hours. Its just kind of all of a sudden morning, and all of a sudden night here. Tends to be how winter and summer work here too. Its just all of a sudden hot every day. then one day, all of a sudden it just gets cold and stays cold til it isnt anymore. This year has been very abnormal here though.

thats them completely saturated and waterlogged before i started shaking branches lol. Theyre all netted but the mystery sativa. Shes gonna need some work, she basically laid down in it. Nothing broke though.

The peaceblasters only moved a little bit. From that angle they all look leaned to the side because im at the crest of a hill and the sun spends more time through the day shining in from that angle then the other direction. Even in dry sun, the patch from that angle still kinda looks all off kilter. Its just a good angle to get lots of the colas in a single shot across multiple plants.

Anyone else notice he was reading the lyrics from his phone? I was trying to watch the video again but it’s buffering like Nick’s videos. Speaking of I just sent the video to my buddy Nick Geeez. Sometime we were riding in my dad’s truck and dio holy diver comes on my dad says what the fuck is this shit & changes the station me and buddy Nick Geez just burst out laughing. Anyway check out puddles in the comments.😂

Last few years have been odd up here as well take it for what it's worth 🤷‍♂️. My harvest up here is always early. I had to start getting fast flowering varieties so they could mostly finish. October is cold and rain non stop if not some snow. First freeze is usually very early October. I definitely appreciate my indoor after dealing with all the weather lol ✌️

xD def looks funny, but if you watch closely youll start seeing this literally everywhere with live performance. Tech aids allow you to experience you're own performance in a more visceral emotional way (he prob was reading lyrics though lmao)

Adrenaline rushes on stage. Sometimes you even have to keep notes of your own material's order and repetition. Its most important on the tracks you love the most honestly because of how intense your own experience of your performance is. Especially when theres an emotional load attached to your expression of the music.

Most artists today keep an ipad or laptop somehwere on the stage. One of the things usually on that screen outside DAW stuffs, is lyrics, and verse/chorus order. and theres software that highlights where you are like an old sing along tape lol.

Its all just to deliver the best possible performances reliably.

Then theres flow state. Performing music in a flow state is a far cry from the experience most non musicians imagine it to be. For most musicians at a truly skilled level, it's one of the most emotionally powerful and visceral experience its possible to have within a mind experiencing a body. It's very easy to lose track of a lot more then just where you are in the performance. SOmetimes ill get into these flow spaces where i have zero conscious connection whatsoever to the performance beyond simply knowing where it goes next. In those states you have to keep an aid to remind you what comes next, because thats your only single responsibility in that state, the performance happens on it's own, but you have to keep track of where it goes from where you are now, and because personal responsibility diminishes dramatically in flow state like that it becomes incredibly easy to loose track of your place in a piece, as if you were the listener, not the performer.
