Some hopefully isolated bud rot, if anyone is wondering this is what it looks like

it is some nasty stuff, I removed the entire branch and inspected the plants well. A good tip is if the sugar leaves pull right out it's infected internally. Hoping I don't find a lot trimming. I fi d some every year in my climate, most plants don't make it outdoors here.

Looking like it's gonna be a rough harvest season for many.

I got another week of perfect then looking like it's gonna get pretty rough up here in the mountains too. When the forecast looks like this, they're usually not super wrong about all the rain thats comin. And once it starts doing this in the fall up here, it usually just kinda keeps coming until thanksgiving lol.

I'm in between thr great lakes so we get the most random weather it's ridiculous to grow weed in. Worse than other places because it's random brutal weather, 4 power outages last year. Nasty rain storms with 40 F Nights. It's a mess

It's usually that way up here in the mountains come fall. Total skizoid weather. I've been kinda blessed though so far this year.

Thanks for that. It's a triploid. I had to top it at like the 3rd node because the apical started growing downward. Throughout the grow its big fan leaves would turn upside down now and then. I nicknamed it The Mutant but probably would be more appropriate for the Blueberry Cupcake that has shown 3 mutations so far.

How do you know it’s triploid without examining its chromosomes?

It's unmistakable when they sprout. Unless there is something about non triploids that makes them sprout 3 leaves also. If that's actually possible I'd love to read some info about it.

The chances of getting a triploid naturally, are pretty slim! You sure it’s not a world, Philo taxi! Or a fasciated split! I’m growing triploids, and there’s nothing about splitting Branches to be seen! I’ve never even heard of that! Triploids are created, as far as I know by breeders! Triploids look like any other plant except on steroids! And they’re 99% sterile! I don’t wanna argue with you! But I’ve seen an awful lot of people declaring an Oddball plant triploid for some reason!

Triploids are created by treating a diploid with some kind of colshine shit, which alters their DNA and creates a tetraploid! Four sets of chromosomes! Then they cross it with a diploid and wind up with a triploid! How they can call a GMO is kind of beyond me! But I am impressed with the plants! If you think you have a triploid, you better clone it! Because triploid seeds are not cheap, yet! L O L!

It's an IBL strain so they really aren't all that unusual as I understand it.

I don't think I'll be buying from this breeder again, regardless.
