Occasionally I will pop autos.
I've had some where you can visually see them stacking in height with every visit to the tent on the same day and I've had some that I was certain was stunted then turned full size in bloom- the bad thing about that is the miscalculated space thinking it would be smaller like an easy 2x2 side grow. Nah. They've needed space.

I think they're actually quite hardy, haven't really had like super heavy feeders or deficiency issues or troubles with watering.

But then I'm always getting such random results in bloom in terms of time. It's not what I'm used to cloning photos. Those grow so fast in veg then I can plan my schedule down to the weeks for bloom but with autos I never can plan the same.

I have a tent a light an exhaust fan with carbon filter. Few other odds an ends. Looking in to timers for light and fan control. The ones up there☝️ wouldn't work. I'll get it figured out. 🤔😉

Honestly bro go to Walmart. Then find the aisles of extension cords. Around there will be times they sell hyper tough brand. It’s the cheapest there but I grab a couple of the timers. I’ve only had one go out from running a little over the 15A load it is recommended for.

Manually set the prongs up or down for the time slot to be on or off then set the dial to what time it is. Boom very important. You want 18hr not 24 hr of light for your autos all the way from start to finish. They will survive in 12 hr but that’s only for photoperiod plants

You have very good parameters for your plant. Perhaps try to add a little heat in the beginning that’ll help your plant grow quicker. 80-83 degrees and your seedlings will grow fast. Higher temps mean bugs will procreate a lot quicker. Also if you use a super soil which is a soil that is water only don’t water to run off. That’ll wash your nutrient out

Thanks a lot. About to head to Walmart in a few. Watched a video on super living soils last night. Learned a lot. Purple Cow was in the top 3 of a water only soil. Another one was BIO365. But the guy said with BIO365 you have to add stuff, GAIA GREEN power bloom when it comes time to flower. Was very interesting. Thanks for the info about the run off and temps. 👍

Ok well the tent went up all good. Found a cheap timer at fall mart. It will do for now. But. The freight train exhaust fan is 6 inch and I'm not sure it's something I can use on this tent. There is no slowing it down or speeding it up. It just blows the skin off your hands.🤣 So now I have to jump on The Amazon and see what I can find for the 3×3 Vivosun tent I have.

Have fun with it. This is my first auto run

How savvy are you with wiring a simple contraption?
PXL 20240907 013100076MP

This is a dimmer switch being fed by that cord and supplying the plug giving my voltage control over something like that fan's speed. It's a simple 20 or less fan speed control option.

I could do it. I have a few laying around. But I decided if I'm going to do this I might as well just get everything right, don't won't the wife mad at me if I burn her house down. Just dropped $500 at AC infinity. I'll use that monster in my 4×4 tent when it's set up for picking and drying. Good thing is the AC infinity 69pro+ runs everything and also will run my Spider Farmer g5000 led light. Was a bit confused about light adjustment and all that so went ahead and grabbed a Quantum PAR Meter Full-Spectrum High Precision PPFD Tester for Photosynthetic Activity of Indoor and Outdoor Plants 400-700nm Light Lux Tester from Dano Plus. All the reviews I read was pretty good. Just hopefully I can grow these Autos. I'm sure with all the help here I can get through a grow without to much trouble 😵‍💫 😉 🤣.

With an auto it is very important to stay on point with nutrients. The number one complaint I read on autos is they are very easy to fuck up and then it damages your yield. I'm just starting my very first auto so I opted for a super soil to make sure they have all the initial bases covered and all I will need to feed is some bloom and booster in flower. I'm currently running the light 24 because I'm lazy and if I want to put in the timer I bought I have to move the plants and get behind the tent so I said nuts to that and this run goes 24.

Yeah I'm still looking into super soils. Probably go with the Purple Cow. Watched a few videos on it and seems to be pretty good stuff. Might go with the Northern Lights Auto seeds I have. I'ma have to make a few adjustments on my tent. Some places I need to exhaust are blocked with a wall and a couch. I'll get it moved to where I need it. This is just temporary until my shed gets finished. What water do you use? I read distilled water is a good water. Just have to make sure the PH is good, sweet spot of 6.4 /6.6 range

Good information here. Bit long but showed me a lot.
