9 weeks today. Just need those white pistils on top to start turning a little more orange and they should be ready. Hopefully this weekend I'll be able to begin the process of chopping them down.
Grab a jewelers loop or take some macros. I monitor the tricholm colours and don't judge anything by amber pistils. Even a shot of cooler temps can make them turn amber/ orange.

I can't hold a jewelers loop steady enough to see anything. LOL. And it's been triple digits here for the last 6 days. Supposed to start cooling down tomorrow.

If you have an iPhone, you can get a free Loupe app that gives you 8X! That should be plenty! I just use cheap loops when I even bother to use them! Colas And buds start taking on a brushed nickel type finish when they are getting towards Done. Especially at night! Instead of a sparkly, stainless steel polished hue ! Pretty easy to see with the naked eye! Unless everything is covered in larf.

Ok thanks. I just tried a loupe app. Can't tell if it's clear or cloudy. Can't hold the phone steady enough. 😭😭 No amber trichs though. So definitely longer. Thanks for the advice.

Went to CHOP is a call that has to be made by the grower! All we can do is throw out a few tidbits! These iPhone cameras take deceptive pictures! They are sensitive! They make everybody’s bud look twice as good as it is! When the northern lights were going on a month or two ago when I looked in the direction I couldn’t see anything with a naked eye. When I took a picture in that direction, there they were plain as day! In all of their colorful glory! L O L!

Yeah there's no such thing as "overwintering" here when it comes to my tomatoes and peppers. I have a couple of varieties that are 3 and 4 years old. It does get into the low 40's, high 30's but that's about as bad as it gets. When I started I was hoping to harvest in October. Looks like that will happen after all. Thanks for the tip.

Has been such an epic flower run so far. Tropical storm next week though. Couldn't be worse timing. We shall see how things go lol

I looked back on what I did last year and my Durbin Poison plants went more than 11 weeks flowering and they were super dank. Actually just finished it like a week ago. So most likely I would have looked at the flowers this weekend and decided not to. I can barely remember what happened last week much less last year. Good thing I keep a record of what I do. LOL!! Again thanks everyone for the tips. Glad I found this forum.

Heya farmers we had another downpour on Saturday probably 1.5 inches once it stopped I went to give them a shake and to my surprise the pistils have browned off and trichombs are cloudy and some amber holy crap these are fast finishers. Since the septoria is now getting worse by the day I chopped them on Sunday

Same at work. Our strain snoball has it. Every day I have to do the walk to look for wilt.

Yeah, because where he is at most guys chop early for the same reason everyone on back east does! Gets his ass chased in by mold and eaten alive by caterpillars! Keep a close eye on her!
