I didn't notice mention of PH values...

I use miracle grow exclusively... well almost... and I can tell you it will lower the pH of whatever medium you grow in...

I had issues with this Scrog grow:

later in the grow when I figure it out.. and added ph up... to counter... and I also had plenty of yellow leaves....

Might be the reasons some growers put it down... not aware about it's acidity....

Also you might want to change to 15-30-15 MC

More P as Captspaulding mentioned..

Okay well being new to this how can I fix ph? What do I need to buy

You will have to get a pH meter... do a search in the search in the menu above...

I check back later... have to go...

You need to know the alkalinity of your water source and what your water is comprised of!

The soil alkalinity too.....everything with ph and container growing has to do with alkalinity! No matter what anyone has to say....alkalinity balances ph swings. It stabilizes the ph of your substrate

Okay cool I'll find out I just use to water lol

Hanna instruments has a pretty cheap alkalinity tester. 100 or less....soil stick flat probe PH meters are best! You can get the bulb probe but those for liquids only....

There are liquid calcium carbonate products you can buy. It's think like an icecream shake. Mix with water follow directions for amount to use...ive given a lot of info here...im out!

Thanks bud!

Here’s a tip for all outside growers using black pots…wrap the pot with reflective plastic insulation. It will definitely keep your soil and roots cool. I’ve been doing this for years.

Also i live in Ohio and it just became legal to grow here this year so this is new to me . Just been following what I can online on how to grow
I'm in Ohio too. This is a beautiful September! Not too much rain

I have a feeling it will be getting cold in the next couple weeks. I'm going to keep my fingers crossed I'm a good month away from harvest still. My plants are so bush I'm afraid of mold coming with the cold and rain.

If you are using city water around here you're fine. Flush it and feed it would be a cure all. That's my go to whenever problems arise.

I have back up plane that I can move it into the basement and I have grow lights but that's the set up I have for the winter growing I'm planning

Glad to read this thread this morning, 2 of my outdoor plants have a bunch of leaves turning yellow but are still likely another month away from harvest. Getting worried about them, will increase the feeding and monitor, hopefully nothing to worry about overall as the buds themselves look good. Just leaves lower on the plant are yellowing.

Makes me nervous, getting close to the (sort of, ignoring dry and cure) finish line on my bigger plants and now this.

From what I've read on here and videos I've watched it's pretty normal for the bottom leaves and fan leaves to become yellow because it's just taking what it needs from those unneeded leaves anyway

Yellowing leaves at this time of year is a good thing. The leaves have stopped making food for the plant and fluids and sugars are being absorbed by the plant. You can and should pull yellow leaves especially if they’re cover active growing buds. I once had a guerilla grow that I could only visit a few times during the year. When I returned during mid October the entire plant had yellow plate leaves with the most incredible buds below them. Revel in the yellow. My yellows are starting.
