It’s full of retired folks. My friend lived there with his mom for a while his cat the dude ventured off to not return. Place wasn’t that built up yet. He thought he ended up coyote food. Like two years later dude shows up all skinny meowing. My friend is like Dude! The cat wouldn’t venture out for a few years. Then he bailed again and never returned.

My Walmart, Chinese, Compton jewelers loupe finally arrived. Waste of money. I see mainly my reflection or the grow light reflection. So back to the eye phone and zoom. Will probably pull a lower nugget to put under the microscope later this evening. What do you all think if this ready or not?

by my tastes yes, but by most prob another few days to a week

If shes nice and stacked and dense, id pull her now because i like mostly cloudy with a few clear and amber both ways and thats exactly what i see here (i think lol), and its an easy target most flowers will pass through at some point. If she could plump a bit more id probably wait.


Tbh, though... I still often just harvest based on the way the flower looks and what i can see of the trichs with my own eyes lol. I have a decent loupe but never use it. I also tend not to count flowering days because it often biases me one way or another on harvesting the flowers too.

Thank you. I can see the white and clear. I swear I am colorblind because everyone pointing out amber when asking this same question I never see. Will probably pull her this weekend depending on what I see on the microscope.

well, its hard to tell in a cell photo. If you can get it stable enough to zoom in but use flash without over exposing it can be easier to see amber because they dont reflect as much light (sometimes) and often a no flash shot will show the clears better but not the ambers also because they reflect less light, counterintuitively lol.

Makes sense, although I see people saying there’s amber on others peoples pictures that I don’t see the amber. Appreciate the advice. Will try to apply in the future.

im just comparing trichs in the picture together and forming an educated guess. Im not totally sure. Prob what most are doing. With things like shadow and stuff, its very hard to tell. Def take anyones observations with a grain of salt including mine lol

Some dont look as vibrant, they look dull, with a grainy phone pic im assuming those are prob amber trichs since clear and white are plainly visible too.

Sorry i went in an uninteded direction with last post. Am a bit stoned-er than usual tonight.

We all deserve a “triplet” jeweler’s loupe for what we do. It gives a wider field of view without distortion. Probably 20ish dollars or so.
