Did all this since I was last up there about 6 months ago when he didn't have any of this done, and just had a few chickens running around

There were pigs too, thought I got a pic of them but I guess not, nice to see something besides deer & turkeys for a change

Good neighbors to have! They sell eggs? I haven’t bought eggs at a store in years now lol, I know about 8 people raising chickens and just buy from them, wife bakes a lot so we’ll get 7-8 dozen a week sometimes, $3/doz and they love it cus you’re paying for all their chicken feed!

Was up my neighbors today, the nut got an emu!

We were talking about getting the woodstoves cleaned out and fired up, it's been damn cold here nights, lower 40s, early for that, one of my Northern Lights is turning purple

Watch out for those emu’s there’s a chick on TikTok that rasies them, if she turns her back it’ll charge her and slam her, literally every time she posts videos daily I’ll have to ask the wife the OP’s name so I can save one lol

Oh yeah it seems like every third neighbor has eggs for sale here!

Thought about putting in chickens and it's still on the table but there are so many folks already selling eggs here it's easier just to buy them and let other folks deal with the predators & other issues

We considered it but with how many are selling them by us too we opted to stay with the garden veggies, and just sell those, made a good $1000 this year off of some veggies and microgreens and plant seedlings in the spring, gunna try to improve next year and keep it rollin

We still may eventually put in a coop but when we looked at the price of eggs vs what we’d have to pay in feed and our time it wasent really worth it to own our own

I'm going to order some White Rhino, one of my old time favorites and easy to grow, to get back into it after a 3 year hiatus.

I figure I'll do a run or two over the winter and then I'll see what I can do as far as setting up this new room for the long run

In the meantime I might as well start puttting some mids in the jar

Hell, yes! You don’t need all these bells and whistles, at least to Veg! I start my plants on a couple of two by 12s sitting on cinderblocks in the bedroom! Under a couple of cheap Chinese, 5000 K but powerful shop lights! LED! I don’t have a doubt I could get them to four or 5 feet under those! With no tent or any of the other bullshit! I think I got two of them for 30 bucks apiece! 13,000 lm each! Then you have to figure out the flower! But you have to start somewhere! And on a fixed income, you have to keep an open mind!

Cowabunga!!!!! Hell, I only use them 4 to 6 Weeks per year on pot! The rest of the time they’re out on my back porch lighting up my barbecue! Or hash sifting table!
