Please update after you've used this in flower. It is oil based, just like neem. I'd like to know if you personally can taste it or if it hits your lungs hard. Says from seed to harvest, but seed to harvest tomatoes isn't the same as seed to harvest smoke.
Thanks.
Likewise, I’m wondering if the oils in it (corn & soybean) will be noticeable in the smoke. Especially if I’m spraying tent plants that are midway through flower. I can’t tolerate smoking the carrier oils in vapes.

Next 3 ingredients are water, sunflower oil and coconut oil, meaning high percentage of those oils too. If I was younger, I probably wouldn't care, because I had 9 lives then. I've cashed all those in and then some. Need my lungs. It's not marketed for cannabis either. Seems more flower and veggie, neither of which we smoke.

I'm not telling you not to obviously. Those are the reasons I haven't purchased it for my plants though. They are already in flower. Something about oil on my flowers I'm going to smoke doesn't sit right with me. It is not water soluble. There is no washing it off.

I’m going to order it today, just checked and found many positive reviews (84% of reviews rate it a 5 or 4). I found 2 reviews specifically for cannabis and both are reassuring.

I’ll try to remember to update here with a taste/smell report after the cure. I’ve grown this strain recently so I know how it should taste & smell.

@Organic13 how do you think the harvested flowers would handle a quick wash, with a few drops of unscented detergent to help it shed any oil residue? Followed by a rinse or two, of course.

I've never heard of a detergent being used to wash bud. Citric acid of some type and peroxide, but not detergent. There may be others that could advise you better on that than me. I'll remember to ask you about it, even if you forget to update. I'm very curious.

Yep, I’ve washed once with baking soda and lemon water, but not detergent (yet).

Sounds good on the reminder, my ”membadat?” ain’t what it used to be.

I like the confirmation, 100%!!

I’ve personally used this at 7 weeks flower time, quick rinse 30 minutes after applying if ya want which I do if I’m fixing to chop.
There’s lots of problems we face growing, this should not be one of them

Natures good guys special blend.
I ordered from Natures Good Guys on the 7th (I know it was a Saturday), says my order was fulfilled on 9/9. Clicked on the UPS tracking link today (9/11) and it says "Label created. Estimated delivery. UPS doesn’t have possession of the package yet. Estimated delivery date will be available as soon as we get the package." I've had luck in the past with them, but really disappointed this go around.

Thanks for the info. Shipping is so damn basic, I don’t understand how e-commerce sites struggle with shipping.

And order fulfillment. They know everyone ordering from them has an issue that needs to be quickly combatted. Why is it taking 4 days for my order to ship... Good luck getting rid of you mites!

Funny, I wrote ‘order fulfillment’ first, then changed it to shipping! But you’re right.

Update: I ordered the Grow Safe product today, Expecting delivery on Thurs.

On a side note, I read that certain environmental conditions tend to interfere with mite infestation. Cooler temperatures and higher humidity were the recommended conditions.

So I set up those conditions in the grow room last night. Today I looked for mites. Only kiled maybe 15, probably missed that many or more, but it seemed there was a noticeable absence of mites on the leaves today. Curious….

A quick rinse isn't washing oil off of anything.

Your free to use whatever you want on your bud that you smoke. I, personally, don't trust it. Doesn't make either of us wrong. I'm not smoking your bud and you aren't smoking mine.

I used seven dust when I had a issue. Killed everything in 24 hours
My first rodeo with mites (discovered yesterday & found a web this morning). I can’t be sure of which kind of mite, but I’m sure I brought them in after working outdoors.

Sorry for the shaky video but you’ll see one crawling over the edge of the leaf—pausing it may give you a decent image.

I’m 1/2 way through flower and plan to prune affected leaves, then remove the plants to outside this evening where I’ll spray them (from top and bottom) with a water hose. Then I’ll clean the tent with 70% isopropyl, then back into the tent for the night when the plants are finished with their drip dry.

Meanwhile I’ve lowered my AC temp to low 70s and raised my humidity into the mid 60s in order to make the mites less frisky with each other.

I’d like to treat my 3 plants with Spinosad asap but I’m unsure if it will be safe to use on flowers. Any residual taste or smell on smoked indoor plants? If so, is there a good alternative treatment? I’ve used 50% alcohol on plants before, don’t want to do it again, and I’m not convinced that H2O2 is worthwhile on mites.

I’m hoping to hear from *experienced* indoor mite murderers! TI

I don’t think I’d smoke that unless you have an extremely thorough cleaning method. And even then, I dunno.

I figure I’ll follow this thru to the end. If it’s taste or smell is noticeably different, maybe I’ll just decarb all 3 plants and eat brownies all winter! 😉

Hey, man, hope you know I'm not trying to throw a hurdle your way. Not in my nature. Just a valid and genuine concern. I certainly hope that there is nothing noticeable. Glad you have a back up, just in case. Who doesn't like some good ol, gooey brownies either? Win. Win. Really.

I know, when I thought about the source of the potential problem, it was like an epiphany: brownies are the Plan B.

No worries, my friend, I appreciate all of your input.

Edit: and it is still a concern for me. Meanwhile, I’ll look into the use of a detergent as a surfactant to remove most traces of oil.

This has worked well for me in the past. Lady bugs are easy to get and will also help

Capt jacks is a one and done solution homie.
It really is pretty amazing stuff….if you can, add it to your toolbox has spinosad in it.
Wait for lights out, gets ta sprayin’ it takes out anything I have used it in in one go.
Now if you absolutely have to use it lights on, just throttle your light back and get some fan action on it to dry them ladies then turn them lights back up.

That last bit,
Only in extreme cases would I do that.
Hope you get it squared. Let us know how that stuff does?

That's what i use also, unfortunatlely i did'nt spray after i had given my outdoor plants a shower cooling down a few weeks back in early flower and now i'm paying for it, i slacked off and those itty bitty worms i might of killed off got a grip on my budding plants. I've hit them now but i see the dryed damaged areas they sucked out and pooped on killed trichomes.
