Will do thanks man! Now I gotta figure out how I’m gonna kill these ants in the morning 🤣🤣
🤣 Good luck, there will always be a few survivors.
If you had a chest freezer then I'd of suggested that as the best method, they die overnight and add a bit of fertilizer to the soil...
For future use or garden use mix boric acid and sugar they will carry it back to the nest and wipe themselves out in 3 to 4 days 😁

Imma need that luck 🤣 freezer isn’t an option unfortunately. I’m thinking either baking the ants alive or De I like how they’re tiny shards of glass that shred through the ants 🤣💀.

Gotcha yea I was reading that on other forms too. It kills all the beneficial microbes
You can relatively easily get those microbes and necessary bacteria back in there it will just cost the same if not more as buying a fresh bag tho I always lean towards a strain specific custom mix. And would advise anyone growing all same strain to do the same.

I definitely want to get into custom organic mixes. It’s only my second grow ever! Organic seems to be the way to get the best clean results

How much de would u recommend for a big bag of ffof
For a 50L bag of soil, you should use about 1 to 2 cups (roughly 240-480 milliliters) of DE, depending on the severity of the ant infestation.
Here’s how to apply it:
Mixing: Spread the DE evenly throughout the soil. It’s best to work the DE into the soil so that ants moving through the soil will come into contact with it. You can either:
Pour small amounts of DE directly into the soil and mix it thoroughly, or
Sprinkle DE on the surface of the soil and use a garden tool or gloves to mix it in evenly.
Surface Layer: After mixing, a thin layer of DE can also be sprinkled on top of the soil to ensure that any ants still on the surface come into contact with it.
This should be sufficient to target any ants in the bag while being safe for plants and soil. Let me know if you’d like more details on the mixing process or anything else!

It is, if you use the right size pot with a well supported soil mix you won't need any nutrients until mid flowering and even then it's not 100% needed you'll just get bigger thicker buds if you do use them.
Ah fair enough, just like me. This is my first serious grow ever I've had a few in cupboards over the years but never went all in like now😝 Have spent 20 years reading grow info listening to podcasts and watching YouTubes talk on every aspect of growing I would encourage you to get into a couple growing based podcasts or YouTubers if you haven't already.
There's so much I know about so many aspects of growing but it's still a drop in the ocean on what there is to know and everyday I learn multiple new things and/or random grow info.
Now I'm testing myself with a crazy grow to see if it has all paid off 🤣 search epsilon you'll see my grow 😁

It’s a 42.5 liter bag of soil so like 1 and a half cups? It’s bad when I opened it I saw at least a couple hundred thousand on the surface. Sweet thanks for all the help man means a lot!

For a 42.5L bag of soil, you can use approximately ¾ to 1½ cups (about 180-360 milliliters)
Your welcome mate, I'm all about that good karma🕉️ pay it back to the universe and we're good😝✌️

Exactly! Once I use up all my cronk synthetic nutrients I’m going organic and never going back. Damn bro you’re killing it fr. I saw what you’re growing and it looks amazing I just don’t know how your gonna smoke all that 🤣. YES! I love watching all the YouTubers from the small weedtubers to the big guys so much information to learn!! I gotchu epsilon

Synth nutrients are great if you just want to focus on bud density and/or overall yeild but if you want that real flavour organic is the only way to go and using a UV-B light the last few weeks of flowering, there's probably a sweet middle ground between using synth nutrients for yeild and UV-B light for increasing potency and flavour. That's a test someone with a much larger space needs to try.
Thanks bro I have been planning it for 2 years tried to think of everything but I may be missing something, time will tell. It's hopefully going to be my years supply of smoke in 1 grow and then I can traded it with other growers and friends to get some proper nice flavours, I approximate anywhere between 18 and 50oz depending on strain ability, my ability, proper support and pruning.
