Frostette doing awesome fillin in and pushin new nodes, she was a hot mix, recharged soil from the cali blues run so she’s a tester but looking much improved from how I had her as a mother

Gallon challenge GP x Okie X 2012 cement shoes water only or tea stretchin out like crazy in her more pot her nodes pushed at least an inch since yesterday lowers coming up and top nodes are compact as hell gunna be a dope little plant

@RoyalQueenSeeds Apple Fritter up potted to a 1 gallon grow bag in the same amendment mix as the gallon challenge plant

Everything will flip on the 30th on the gallon challenge schedule and then I’ll let the 6 Maui x frostettes veg out a bit gotta decide on final pots for them,

EFFF YEAH! I love that energy! I’m sitting here at work babysitting a warehouse all day solo. Had a few seeds come up over night. Found bag seeds from a Mexican land race crossed with a Columbian land race. I really enjoyed their mother’s flower, was an energetic, inspirational, and creative high. @Mikedin I was driving to work this morning and noticed that a guy down the street had taken a twenty gallon rubber made trash can and drilled it out and cut drainage holes into it, just like you do. Now I’m wondering if he’s growing his own like me. Is that method transfer from something else cannabis related or is an agricultural practice for growing trees? 20 gallon rubber maids a pretty tall container.

FYI, tasters arc every single time they are turned on and off both. Most oldschool light switches and appliance power switches arc internally when actuated as well.


I have a personal acquaintance back in KC i worked with at a commercial facility who ended up having skin grafts done on like 25% of their upper body because they blasted in cold, dry air wearing a hoodie made from synthetic fibers. (in cold dry air, this turns you into a walking charged capacitor) Had all windows open, appliances off. Hoodie sparked and set the dish on fire right as he picked it up to blow on it.

They called a staff meeting for literally everyone that worked at the facility, even the custodians, to explain in detail exactly what happened and why it happened to him as a way to drum in how unexpectedly dangerous this can be if you dont have ALL variables covered. It worked very well. For me anyway. I started squishing more buds then blasting after that lol.

I’ll probably never try to blast anything just for that safety factor, I have a rosin press, yeah it’s a slower process/method to go through larger batches but I’m not really worried about that it’s all for personal use anyways. My hang up with the press is that it’s definitely a cold environment activity, I have a tough time getting extract from the wax paper to the nail. Unless it’s cooler than 65 degrees. I don’t see indoor temperatures in that range between may and September usually. I’ve tried using the freezer and a cold plate but when the ambient temp is higher than 65 it’s more like spreading butter on toast, than collecting nectar. That’s my experience at least. I have seen commercial applications where all extract work is done in a cooled environment like a walk in fridge or something similar.

making pressed rosin is way faster then wax, assuming you properly purge the wax lol. But it only has like 60% the return of blasting.

I can go from dry uncured flower to pressed oils in like 20-30 mins. Just purging the bho, depending on size of the blast, can take like a week lol.

And to be honest, properly blasted and purged wax actually dabs off a nail cleaner then pressed rosin. Leaves far less crystalized carbons behind on the nail. Can make of that what you will lmao.

When i make pressed rosin, heres a helpful hint. Fold the paper over then go hold it against the side of the inside of your freezer for like 20 seconds. Itll be easy as hell to transfer it to nail or container after that. Itll work like a stiff oil usually. Fast movements snap, but slow movements flex.

Iv never had trouble working it after holding it against the side of the freezer, regardless of consistency. Some do work better than others though. i def dont leave it in the freezer, that makes it as hard to work as shatter.

You can also unfold the paper after a fresh press and just let it sit in the air for a couple hours so the outer layer oxidizes, itll be a lot easier to work after that too. (usually, not always lol, depends entirely on the chemistry and fat/tannin content of the specific plant)

Id often bring the humidity of a flower back up to likr 65-70% too, then press, and leave out over night. my gorilla cookies i did that way. It has massive resin content but never wanted to let go of it.

Ive never had a batch of press that didnt irritate me in one way or another though lol.

one thing i should also mention, im still using the old school nail and globe setups. The little titanium cup with the glass globe ya put over after torching it. I still find the easiest way to dab to be getting it on a damn bobby pin or dab tool, and just dabbing it oldschool torch nail and globe style lol.


All the modern e nail and wax pens and stuff, They work well, but i absolutely hate loading them with most rosin and wax consistencies. I hate it a lot lol. And im very not a fan of the dab ninja style enails on bongs with the cap.
I have one but never use it unless there's like 3-4 heads all trying to dab out together.

Now that I officially have an indoor grow room / Tuff Shed, after all of the fun that this summer has brought me I'm planning on cleaning it with H2O2 to kill off any unwanted presents from the mountain. I know that there are a bunch of different concentrations of hydrogen peroxide out there but I'm reading a lot of conflicting information saying to use everything from 3% to 30%. Can anyone clarify? Any insight is appreciated!

I usually press, then place in freezer and will collect after a brief chilling period. It is cool and not so cool to see those differences between strains when pressing. Some stuff just oozes right off the flower.

I’ve never been properly educated on anything but the titanium tip, silicon pipe into the concentrate directly after heating it, method. I don’t really have any regular acquaintances with people who consume concentrate anymore. I have an a similar silicone/ titanium kit. I went out and bought a glass accessory for doing extract with my water bongs. Don’t even know if I’m doing it right, but I get high af as the kids say so I think I’m doing it right?!?!

You can run uv c bulbs in there before you move anything alive in, they’ll kill pretty much anything. Are you going to insulate and seal the interior? I’d work on making it as clean as possible and make steps to keep it that way. Maybe use a primer like kilz to cover the interior and then block all windows and doors from light, get inside of it on a bright sunny day and look for any gaps or cracks where pest can enter and hit em with some sealant foam or something. Those uv c bulbs are pretty much just for sterilization , shouldn’t be used in presence of anything you want to keep alive.
