Left her alone since trimming some fan leaves and lower stuff. She appears to be growing well

Pot Type/Size- 4.4 liter Air Pot, base moved up 2 rows to make closer to 1 gallon.

I'm trying to decide how I want to train her, I might take 4 of the lower nodes that are at the top now and put a lst clip on them and top each of them.

I wish the node spacing was a little longer, I'm running my light at 60% because of the Auto blooming so that may have played a role in the short node spacing. I'm starting to see a very faint color change on the leaf tips, I'm assuming it's from light intensity but I'm about to chop the Auto so I dropped the intensity to 40% .

After 12 days, I finally watered her again using the following nutrients.
Armor Si - 1 ml/gal
CALiMAGic - 5 ml/gal
Flora Micro - 2.5 ml/gal
Flora Gro - 2.5 ml/gal
Flora Bloom - 2.5 ml/gal

Environment:



-Tent: Mars Hydro 2x4 from Amazon, less than 1/2 price because it was a return. Has a small 1” rip in back, repaired with foil tape.

-Light: Off Brand 200 watt full spectrum -LED light. Another Amazon return. $65

-HVAC: IPower 4” inline fan with controller, again, Amazon return, ~$50, and a cheap oscillating clip on fan.

-Fresh Earth Worm Castings from Vermicomposting

Thursday update.

Topping the 6 side branches has promoted a fair bit of growth from the nodes below.

Even with the EWC, Worm Tea, and Dr. Earth toppings, sheis still running out of nutes. The plan is still to up pot 2 weeks before flip, so she will get about 40% new soil at that time. This current nursery pot is about 0.6 US gallons, I plan to move to a true US gallon.

Starting to get purple stalks and petioles, at a few spots.

Some leaf tips starting to curl down. Lower fans getting canabilized to feed the rest of plant.

Nodes below topping filling in. New growth lime green in center, green to dark green on established growth. Some canoe action on upper leaves.


I am thinking she is running low on potassium and magnesium. Both those nutrients are mobile, and only older growth affected. With the leave tips, it’s probably a combination of delaying a watering because of the Labor Day holiday and not being there, too much light, and being root bound. The roots will have room to stretch after Monday, the plant got lowered a bit, and opened up vent for more intake and increased CO2 with it. It has been running creating a vacuum, now it is in equilibrium. Probably also a contributing factor to the Mag Def as well.

The color of the plant leads me to believe nitrogen is fine, and the explosive growth says phosphorus is in check.

Dr Earths has a recipe for tea on back of bag. I will try making some next watering, which will probably be after up potting, as she was just watered today with sprout tea.

Ha ha ha happy friday check in y’all! Not a lot but you can see the nodes starting to kick in after the cut. Still not as big as I had hoped for but thats then and this is now so we move on! Im just stoked the nutes I fed her didnt burn (it was such a light feeding) still made me nervous though.

Friday update: it’s been the same except a slight increase in vpd between 1.1-1.2 I’ll keep it there till a week or so after the flip. Everything is looking good so far.

I missed two submissions not sure if I'm Disqualified or not but here we go.

I switched up a lot of variables this grow and it shows.

Previously only had a few fox farm grows under my belt using straight up pro mix or ocean forest.

Added another light and vpd went nuts.

Have only been using agrothrive so far, I can tell it's lacking in things.

Probably going to leave her alone and do no topping or pruning.

Submission day! She’s takin to her new pot and she’s stretched at least an inch since I removed those huge fans, she looks overwatered hut she was dry already after 3 days I didn’t water super heavy at up pot, I let her drink form the saucer then finished with a top water, she’s pushin out those nodes hard even shaggy like this, I think she’s about to explode over the next few days lol

Her leaves are growing quick I think the stems cant hold them up yet lol

I am passing much older sisters in here but in the end I will die without being smoked but I will leave a legacy after getting sprayed with sts for seed creation, but my top took root so I hope it matures to bring something to the tester.

Late update been working too much here she is OG KUSH still living outside cold and probably not to happy growing in this crap weather but alive and if this indoor plant can just go little amber og kush will go in tent with light and grow happy hopefully

The 1 gal deco pot is having some serious drainage issues. Havent watered her in ages but she seems to be recovering well, pots getting lighter. Going to have to be careful with watering going forward. Hit her with a top dress+de as the wet medium is attracting gnats.
