What’s up guys. I’ve been grown for a long time. Had clones work a decade ago now that I’m back I fail every time. Current process and plants. What am I don’t wrong now.
First where should I be cutting. See pics, full branchy or little girls.

I germ in a paper towel, heat mat etc. tap root- goes into my bubbleponic aero Frankenstein. I’ve lost one seed since I’ve been back and I know why. I put into rapid rooters. Cut the rapid rooter in down one side and slide the tap root in. I use clones seed/clone solution. First week until it looks like a plant than switch over to GH trio. Rapid rooters are new I used to go straight into clay pebbles. Still need to do a side by side. I think straight to clay is faster and better root spread when going from 2”-5” nets

cloning - sterile blade, cut on 45°, scrap the outside of the bottom of the stem a little. Straight into clay. Bottom of the stem out of the bottom of the net. An 1” below the water. The sprayer goes on 10 secs every hour. Same clonedx like I use to for the seeds.
Both of these are ethose punch berry X cookies and the phenos were definitely different so want to keep one.

here. No straight into clay. Straight into water with root formation stimulator, and when root is formed - then into soil

I’m hydro. Clay pebbles.
Same here but I actually clone directly into hydroton with rapid rooters as my base. There's a section on cloning in the thread of the link below for you spare time reading but for now..
Turn off the air pump it's just heating up the water
Run your sprayer for the cuttings 24/7, if the water temp gets high you can back it back off some but one minute per hour is sure death to any cutting

The method I use for hard to clone mother stock, is snip like you have been, then straight in to solo cup of plain water. Change the water once a day for 4 days. After day 4, roll stem in rooting powder, then back in to solo cup of water. Most of the rooting powder will come off when you put it back in cup. Change water every other day, usually around day 8 I will see roots starting to form, then they go in other final growing medium.

I only do this on my hard to root varieties. This is not my normal process.

Thanks for the reply man. I was going to germ an auto and pop it into a rapid rooter like I normally do along with the clones so I can run this next and put these into flower next week.

I didn’t see the link. Just a million different ways figure put what I do and what I’m doing wrong

The rapid rooters don’t get too wet running the sprayer 24/7? And there’s so little water I feel like the temps would rise. Why no air pump at all? Right now they will go in that tent and I need an intake. I’m around. 73-74° res tanks so that will get hot. Southern ag keeps my roots white in warm temps.

Stick with the clonex
