^^above post is staff so probably a better opinion, I used this stuff on my outdoor plants when they had mites. Did applications over a week period and seems to have helped.

now I have caterpillars 🤦‍♀️

I can’t tell if they’re *spider* mites, but I think they are mites of some sort. I brought some inside from working outdoors, so I used GrowSafe—2 generous treatments and they’re virtually gone. A 3rd was recommended but I’m nearly ready to chop so I skipped it for now.

I had my doubts but it’s an excellent product, even in bloom.
EDIT: It looks like you have mealybugs though. What’s all that white stuff in one of yr pics?

There was a guy here who got rid of mites on his indoor by spraying 50% water, and 50%, 99.9% iso mixture! But said you had to cover the medium! Roots don’t like it! Thrips aren’t a big deal! Mites are tougher! If you are in the southern hemisphere, it is spring time, so you’re probably in veg if you’re outdoors, so you can pretty much douse them at will! Give the Grow safe a Try also! Post a picture of the entire plant! Good luck!

I have to caution you about that 50/50 mix of water and isopropyl. I sprayed my plants and within a couple hours they showed extensive leaf tissue damage. Just be careful.

Right on! GNick Used it! And he did have some problems! But he said it was from letting it all runoff into his soil! When he started covering the medium, he didn’t have any more problems! I’ve never used it! But you usually have to douse the plants pretty good! So you can get a fair amount of runoff! You’re right! Probably just better to spray a small portion and see if it’s going to damage them first! Instead of going all in!

I know there are thrips. I can see them! There might be mites! That’s a little tougher call! But the remedy is pretty much, the same for both! Hope he’s not indoors!
I see thrips too. And what I thought was white furry mealybugs must be the thrip damage.

@Tazzmania that GrowSafe isn’t labeled for thrips. There may be a better choice for you right now.

Words to live by! 🙄

Yeah, i covered my medium very well. I thought it was because I picked up 91% iso instead of the 70% I thought I was using. It damaged the leaves so badly I thought about tossing both plants. Happily, I chose Door #2 🤩

That's what I use. It's good. Just be sure to spray the underside of the leaves. I use a pump sprayer with a nozzle that can be turned up.

Yes. It should.
Customer service recommended that I spray “copious amounts” (in bold text) when I had a question. So I did. It’s one of the few good options for mites when in late flower. 🏆

If you are worried about spider mites.
Take a clean paper towel pick your worst infected plant then spread left hand on top of a mid fan leaf. Take paper towel and wipe firmly on underside of leaf. If you. See any blood it will most likely be mite larvae.
If I was correct about your photo, white patches and treated already, I would say you have it covered. Thrips take much longer to badly damage plant.
Hope this helps🙏
