Really? I figure they’d be finishing by now if it’s a longer running or earlier, like I have the cali blues outside but I’m wondering if she’ll finish in time, our nights are gettin cold earlier than usual these past few years maybe I’ll do an auto bed and a photo bed I’m sure I’ll have plenty of clones to play with this winter 🤣 test flower time on a few strains I have now and some coming up frostte is harvestable in 58 days if needed I usually push to 65-70 but if need be they can be chopped,

I’ll be able to install shade net and rain cover if needed too where they are if that makes a difference

Yep haha 65gallons inside the bed and I’ll dig out and blend in everything together then put it all back in the soil in this garden was 6” of 100% organic dark leaf compost when I built it 3 years ago, since then only additional topsoil, manure, compost and organic amendments have been used, the veggies in the garden were amended and spring, watered for 3 weeks with Alaska fish fert to root in then watered for an addditional 2 weeks, after that only rain watered the plot all season even thorough all the heat, I only watered the potted peppers.

It’ll be kinda a blend of all organic no till and Hügelkultur I’ll be lining the bottom and sides with 2-3 year old maple logs to decompose over time

Things are shapin up, removed the plastic (been down since early spring) got the base flattened plastic back in place and boxes positioned.

Bale of 100% peat full 3.8cu ft bale (no additives or buffers pure Canadian peat) split between the 2x, then 1x bag of coast of Maine composted manure per box (1 cu ft) the tomato tone I think is a 10 lb bag I’ll split between the boxes just to get some microbes minglin with some food in the compost and, also have a old bag of vermiculite I’ll split between em, then water in a bit with some Alaska fish fertilizer, I’ll get a bag of cover crop for each one next week and let ‘em start workin!

Progress pics comin as I dig 🤣
Now that is some serious gardening right there. You're not fucking around 😎 👍

I wanna be like you when I grow up 🤣

Still kickin too

This is the old cucumber row so it’s was also heavily amended but only fed on lightly the past few years

If I like this next year I’ll build 2 more for the back row

Couple rows have been pulled already, I love how easy it is to clean out, 3 minutes a row rip out, sweep, done 🤣

That row had 30’ of net on poles supporting the cucumbers in each of those cutouts took 10 minutes to remove lol

Oh and the wife don’t fuck around herself… deep freezer is full of 1 lb frozen bags of peppers, cherry tomatoes, broccoli etc etc

And she’s yelling at me for more jars

Yes she freezes the homemade bread she makes 8 loaves a week plus 2 sourdough and I just pull out loaves as I need em

Now that's a lot of jars. Sourdough bread is amazing too 👍

I saw those tomatoes and my weed-infused brain started to wonder what would happen if you grew in a Topsy-Turvy planter 😂

Had some crazy winds come thru a few mins ago right after heavy rains. Already got about an inch today.

Lost a couple branches, expected worse. They hanging in there. Mostly. These two got twisted up in the net

These buds could def use a few more weeks. Fingers crossed.

They will get rot in September, the genetics are a lot weaker in my experience. The only way is to have them finish by end of August. I tried a wide variety and all of them got Rot, tiny nugs big nugs, direct sun, didn't matter i lost them all. It get too humid for them. I have a ton of pics of them I can look up to show you later. Regs I have harvested covered in snow, but autos I never had any luck with

I def don't bother with them here for all of these reasons. Very wet summers here even in drought seasons. Can't run reliable auto F1s either, they have to be inbred and stifled vigor wise to have guaranteed autoflowering in ever single offspring.

So, I think I'm gonna put a narrow steel rod through this stalk to aid in reducing bend memory. Water seal it real good. wrap the handle, put some eyes on it, and turn it into a 5.5ft trout rod lmao.
