Looking for some trouble shooting help.

GG4 strain (left)
OREOZ (right)
Photoperiod plants
Day 15 of flower
3 gallon pot, Fox Farms Happy Frog soil
TPS one liquid nutes and molasses (unsulphures)
Scrog technique
3 x 3 tent
Mars hydro FC 3000 LED (new and powerful)

Light has been at >25% on dimmer through veg stage to avoid light stress. Plants have done very well and have been healthy.
When changed into 12-12/flower, the new growth and tip leaves on GG4 lightened in color. There has been slight rolling upward of leaves with serration on edges.
This is now the beginning of third week of flower, so I increased light intensity feature to 35% this morning after watering last night.
Today they looked like this. What do you think is root of the problem? This is my first scrog grow and I’m not that experienced.

First photo is last night before watering and increasing the light intensity. Last 6 pics are after 12 hours of light at 10% more intense setting. Oreoz seems to be ok but GG4 looks like it’s stressed.

Did I overdo nutes? Like a nutrient lock out combined with light stress?

Wait for others to comment, but I think it might be that your light is too close or your fan is too close, but I am not an expert. It looks like its the only tops of the plants which is what makes me think that. Looking at the rest of your plant the growth below looks good, it doesn't look at all like the tops. So measure the light distance when you can. Do you know what the humidity and temp is? These answers might help someone more experienced with troubleshooting than me.

If you don't get any replies, the Trainwreck thread is a communal thread where lots of people jump in and ask questions. All the regulars post there, here is the link.

Thank you 🙏🏼
I wondered the same about the fan and the light. I can move it up about 6-8” more then it’s at the ceiling.
The problem started when the plant began to stretch. Makes me think it’s maybe heat/light/air stress like you said.
The plants are in bed right now (lights off) so I will measure and then move lights up and see if that makes a difference tomorrrow.
I have the app that measures the photons at canopy level. I will check on that too.

Humidity: 53%
Temp: 73 F
This is with lights off.

Thank you again for being kind and giving input. I will look at the train wreck thread too.

You said that you increased the intensity last night, and this morning they were like this. A lot of people here, myself included, keep LEDs around 30" from the plants. That was advice from a few Staff members here, and its a good place to begin. People push those numbers once they have more experience, but its a good rule to stick by until you get more experience 😛 .

As for the fans, I personally keep my fan right below my LED light, so about 20" above my canopy, but I am in a 5x5 so I have 2 of them, and a 3rd below the canopy. It doesn't directly hit my plants, but it bounces off the walls and they all move slightly. Some strains just don't like consistent wind. Some love it, and they can take a full blast fan 24/7 but mine currently cant haha. If I get my fans too close the edges of my leaves start to curl up, so my rule is to keep my fan right below my LED and just use more fans lol, but that's just me.

If I were you I would raise the light to 30" above or as close as you can get, and raise the fan too. Check out the trainwreck thread, they are really cool in there.

Thank you so much. I plan to raise lights and then add another fan tomorrow AM. Do you ever use an infrared thermometer gun to measure temp at leaf level? It may not really be needed once you get the height and airflow down.

🙏🏼 thank you. This is definitely a learning experience. I appreciate all of the advice and tips

Its no worries, its the best place to start, just make sure your fans aren't directly hitting the plants, they can get sensitive when fans are on 24/7. I position my fans just an inch or so below my LED light, and all my plants slightly rustle instead of getting hit directly.

Not me personally no, I don't measure the heat output from LEDs because they run pretty cool even when you put your hand under it, so I don't use any kind of meters or anything to measure light or temp of leaf, I just use a regular temp/humidity probe for the tent and keep to the 30" rule.

I edited my message, I said "are" instead of "arent" and that is a huge distinction haha. Correct sentence is:
"just make sure your fans aren't directly hitting the plants"
🤣 I am a cluts.
