I just made elk tenderloins the other night

and I had never had elk before, ohhh my fucking god. I’m not sure if there’s a better tasting red meat in the world. But I’ll try it if I can find it. I’m glad I’m not a Hindu, Muslim or Jewish person those poor people can’t eat cows or pigs if they’re orthodox. Seems crazy to take options off the menu.

I would definitely fill a freezer with either, venison too. I had a budy who bought an entire cow and filled a huge stand up freezer with the meat and he was filling like 3-5 deer tags a season. Think it set him back $1200 for everything. Honestly not a bad deal as long as you have a generator incase the lights go out.

However spending 4.5 hours trimming until midnight and for some odd reason having to piss all night when I got to bed has me procrastinating until tomorrow night to start another plant. Yesterday was a rough one, almost felt like I was coming down with a cold. Felt fine today.
