I’m in the northeast Us and I started this years grow very early. They grew huge this year and I yielded 8.5 lbs from 9 plants. I did put a few too many in my plot (just have to make the plot bigger!). This is legal in my state with two medical card holders in the house. There were three that got shaded out a bit too much to be able to get the yields I got from the biggest ones. The best yielding one was an OG Kush at almost 1.75 lbs. This is what 8.5 lbs looks like in 3 and 5 gallon buckets and some glass jars. Now to start the winter indoor grow! Cleaned the grow room really well today and starting the germinating tonight. Pink Gorilla, Strawberry Dream, and Maui Magilla Glue. All hybrids from Sticky Finger Seeds. Hawaiian strains all three. I did their Mauie Wowie a year or so ago and it came out delicious. Hope you all are having as much success as I have had this year. Thanks for looking.

Very nice. I had a fantastic year as well, and just getting settled into trim jail. I have probably somewhere in the neighborhood of 5-10 lbs dry coming I think.

Had to pull some early from this tropical storm but looking like what got left should manage through it. Season was so perfect leading up to it though, even the early pulls are looking fantastic quality. It was 83 and sunny from like mid July to just a handful of days ago here I n southern Appalachia.

Your biggest problem now, is pantry space lol. Hella nice yield, dude. Color me impressed.

daaaaaaaaaam

in the north east too?! You’re a real life bad ass.
Ha ha! That’s funny. When I got my first line cooking job years ago a friend bought me a T-shirt that says Linecook crossed out and over it it says Badass. Small tangent induced by my lovely Pineapple Express

Congrats that sounds awesome. Hope the storm didn’t do too much damage! What strains did you do?

Thanks, it was a good year. I just have a bunch of 3 and 5 gallon buckets around the living room lol. I’m a lady farmer. lol.
I’ll be happy if I get a pound or so. Big win in my book.

I spent the season kicking myself for not having 6ft+ plants, but after half trimming my little 2.5 footer I’m not sad 💀

That's a hard question to answer lol. I have some land race crosses I've made. I known lineages. Old beans from commercial breeder friends. I just came back to it after about a 5 year hiatus.

And yes there's actually a lot of hell going on in my neck of the woods weather wise. Bout as nasty as I've ever seen it here. May be the worst TBH. But I don't wanna ramble on bout all that here lol. Thank you for the kind words though.

The weather's giving me a week or so off for trim jail at least lol.

I bet you get a lot more than you realize. I think the biggest difference is mine has all sun all day. They only shaded each other sometimes.

I pressed some of the shake, which is really nice shake, more like crumbles. I only have a small press but it gave me a good two grams off the first press, nice golden rosin.
😍😍

I've got a press ordered but the nails all screwy for a bit too. I've got this fast flowering purp that's already been curing a couple weeks I've started smoking on. Turned out really good. Made a chunk of some 220micron lazy-boy sift too. Was just a small filler plant. Pulled a couple zips.

This one making some golden shatter BHO from the damn trim though. I seriously regret not starting her with the big girls back in April 🤣🤣.

Yeah, I’m trying to get them in the sunniest spot withoutout being too obvious. Given my lack of experience, I’m very happy lol

That bud looks fabulous. I have the same drying racks lol. Really meant for clothes. lol. I also got a bunch of sock drying racks that I love. Great haul.

Depending where you live and the heat/humidity you can actually yield more with 6-7 he's then 8-10. More open plants will loose less to mold and let more light further in.

If I give my flowers that hot muggy 4-6pm Appalachian sun, they'll transpire water right into their own flowers because it's too humid for it to evaporate, but hot enough to force transpiration regardless.

I live in a deciduous rainforest though 🤣

I haven’t done Bho yet but it is in the very near future. I used 90 micron this time. The press was a present from my son and I haven’t used it as much as I should. I want to do bho so that I can do more at once. The press is quite small and I’m impatient lol

I have a 5x15 net with 5 inch squares across the basement ceiling cram packed behind all that. 😭😭😭🙃

Wasn't supposed to all come down like this but weather and all.

Can't wait to sample these Columbians tho 🤤🫠 I've looked forward to having these buds again for years now.

That's just sifted hash I pressed into a chunk in a cigg cellophane lol. I wanted to get away from a bit of that "uncured bud phlegm"

That was a sample 24hr purged run. I put a half o back to cure just to blast some shatter later on. I got a solid 20% return just from the trim on that one.

Make sure you practice excessively religious, above and beyond safety practices with BHO. Synthetic clothing causes sparks in dry rapidly moving air regardless of ventilation. Toasters and old style light switches arc when actuated. Things like that. Just make sure you stay cognicent and never become complacent with the process and you'll be golden. No pun intended lol

Yeah that makes sense. I’m in the northeast and it gets super humid here but not as hot as there. I’ve been lucky with no mold issues so far in a few years growing outside and a lot more indoors. I live in a place that’s fairly flat and we pretty much always have a breeze at least. Rarely is there no wind here. I’m convinced that’s helped me avoid mold.

I did realize later that I planted too many in the plot. I’m just going to do the same number next year and just make the plot bigger.
