geezus your fingers look like shit,.
mold well i think we all will at least have a bit of that,..
ive lost a handful of flowers to worm induced botrytis. Thats the one thing i dont think ive ever had an outdoor run without seeing a bit of somewhere. If you havent lost some flower to worm rot by finish, i dont trust your flowers lol.

my PB3 plant has prob 2 pounds of flower on her though, didnt loose a single branch through the tropical storm. And as of today, 14" of rainfall and 4 days into a week straight of rain, i cant find a single flower with pm or rot on her or PB2 either one. I did loose some branches through the winds on PB2 though. Im def becoming super confident i can finish those plants, hurricane or not though.

Theyre columbians though. They come from the rainforest mountains and will usually tend to be the exception to most rules rain wise.

Armyworms here too!, they were super attracted to the Lemon Tree Punch, that's why I harvested the majority of it a week or so early, I was loosing bud daily. Only a couple on the coffee crisp, they didn't like it. The white widow had a number as well, partly the reason i early harvested it early. So far they haven't taken to the "Aurora Indica", its been a very resilient outdoor strain, just not for sure what it is.

Loss from budworms is just a reality for me. I get in hunt mode and just try to manage them. Just cut my first plant down and the damage has been so minimal that it rounds out to zero for me. The plant is going to yield 1.5 pounds + and I maybe lost a gram or two. My revised treatment routine seems to have made a difference this year. We'll see when I get the other one down next weekend but so far so good.

This right here!!! "The early bird catches the worm" is one of the most true statements when it comes to gardening. I on purposely left some of my other (not cannabis) bushes overgrown this year because of the birds building nests. I swear like 10 of them stay perched on the wall or the power lines just picking them worms off as they spot them in the morning.
So yeah, you can see a tiny bit of damage in the video, but like I said in the previous post, it's very minimal.
Thank you birds.

i wanted to take my big columbian giant pheno a couple more weeks. But she has an airy pure sativa super foxtaily structure. That does make her very resistant to rot and fungi naturally. But it makes it possible for the worms to get inside the flowers not just on the surface.

Anywhere there was worm damage on that particular plant, all this rain started to set on botrytis, so i took all of her down but the pollenated breeding branches.

My #3 pheno was dense enough in the flowers to keep worms on her surface though. The citric seems to be keeping any rot or molds from setting in on her worm damage. But shes also half columbian and if you were gonna take a plant through a hurricane, thats probably the plant you want to have lmao. Ill get a video of her in a bit. Shes still hanging in there. Somehow. No broken branches, no rot.

To Anyone who wants to help immediately and directly in the Florida/sc/nc/tn area. Ryan Hall and the y'all squad is raising money for relief. Getting helicopters chartered for air drops of supplies in western NC where more then 75% of all roads have been destroyed and emergency crews cant get. They have boots on the ground already from Florida to North Carolina and work directly at a personal level with those needing the most relief. They actively hunt for the people in the wort situations. And right now are focusing on trying to get relief to people and communities emergency crews cannot get to.

That's how i like to trim and dry mine up like your doing. I've always done a wet trim. I've done way in the past hung up without trimming for me it was a big flop. More of a mess to trim after hanging and then i did'nt like the looks of bud in the jars either LOL. I have 1/4 of my blueberry muffins from the 3 plants trimmed and hanging. It's harder cause i gotta dig out the worm crap. Not all of it is damaged thank goodness. Boy am i ever ready for my season to end.

My shop is heat and humidity controlled. If it’s drying to slow , I leave the lights on for the night. Everything always turns out fine.i don’t stress about humidity, or heat.

This years outdoor grow 2024 western coastal lower (mitten)Michigan - sandy loam amended with fresh horse manure in April and sucker fish speared from local source, 12 hours direct sunlight at summer solstice, plants are lucky to get 6 hours as I type.
We hada battle with powdery mildew this year with big swings in temperature humidity and a lot of rain. (Only had to water twice) fertilized with Alaskan 'grow' formula and fox farms 'happy frog' mixed in 20-40 gallons of fish tank water exchange, fertilized 3-4 times during 2024 season, little to no leaf tip burn!
We applied neem starting in early July at first signs of pm on surrounding vegetation (cucurbits) four applications total then switched to hydrogen peroxide as plants were 2-4 weeks into flower.
Seeds purchased from *SEEDSMAN* genetics selected were for supposed earliness with a few freebies thrown in by seedsman which included two autoflower strains.
Strains ordered at the end of April germinated by May 09 and put into solo cups under 1000w LED equivalent, grown for four weeks and transplanted in early June to outdoor garden.
Strains grown-
Cinderella 99 x Blueberry (indica variant)
Purple Punch F1 fast
Peyote Skittlez
OG Kush Ltd.
Space Panda
Alaskan Purple x Do-Si-Do's
Banana purple punch Auto
Wedding cake auto
Autoflowers finished/harvested July15-21... meager yields but quality smoke.
C99xBB started flowering 2nd/3rd week of July most susceptible to PM. Chopped last weekend, one of the phenos (most sativa like) smells like a orange cremesicle! other pheno smells heady floral musky spicy incense. Decent yields needed more space 6ft tall 5 feet across
Next in maturity was 'Space Panda' what an incredible strain should have used LST to maximize potential, by far the most trichomes of any of the strains, she started showing signs of flowering late July -Atlas seed has a winner with this Oreoz BX a hash makers dream cone true skunk berries is her smell (she was chopped last weekend when the rains came) she is drying now she was 6ft tall 4 feet across sturdy stalks heavy thick buds.
Everything else is still flowering for another 2-4 weeks.
Here are some pics, blessings and aloha TD
