As a new grower in my first grow, I PH'd my water b4 adding nutes. I couldn't figure out why this seedling has stopped /slowed it's growth and looks like it's in trouble. Then it hit me, I PH'd b4 adding nutes and not after. So I'm assuming when I've been watering with nutes, I've been feeding with a ph out of range. Lesson learned, I will now always PH after adding anything. So my question is how ad did I fuck up and how can my girls recover? Growing autoflowers in 2×4 tent with FFOF in 3 gal fabric pots and viparSpectra p2000 full spectrum led light. Are these girls able to recover, how will it affect yield, what other need to knows.. 1 strawberry pie day 22 of flower ( i dont feel like its stacking or fattening up) 1 Blue Ox day 11 seedling ( this ones looking rough) and 1 Strawberry Gorilla day 3 of veg. Also first time lst horrible job and some of the buddlets are turning amber. Any help is greatly appreciated..

Don’t stress it. Soil acts as a buffer as it contains minerals and organic matter that help stabilize its pH, meaning fluctuations in watering pH won't drastically impact the overall soil pH. (It’s only critical when you’re using a substrate like coco or rock wool or doing hydro.)

Cool I like what I'm hearing so far. But what's up with the 1st photo. Discoloration and curling also looks brittle.. And the flowering one? Is it still too early for it to start stacking and fattening up.. I've always understood autoflowers are approx 8-9 week from seed. This girls's at day 50 / 8 weeks from seed.

Don't overhink it. The reason we balance pH is so that the water and soil are in a healthy range to metabolize nutrients. If pH is off it manifests itself as a nutrient deficiency and where many of us get into trouble is we start adding nutrients to fix it and throw everything out of whack when a slight pH adjustment would fix the problem. I'm just a hobbyist but I don't see any signs of deficiency looking at your pics. The last two shots looks like you have an abundance of nitrogen and looks to me like if you gave it any more it could go toxic.. But that could also be your strain.

Perhaps I should, but I don't check my soil pH. I start with a pH balanced soil (EB Stone's Recipe 420 Bhang), and then I pH adjust the water I add to it. Also I don't fiddle with a pH reader at every feeding. I took measurements for a week and determined a capful of vinegar per gallon of water brings my tap water down approximately to 6.8. I haven't observed a drastic change in pH with the nutrients I work with during flowering (Fox Farm Bloom and Bud Candy) when added to the water.

From the first two shots of your babies, I presume they are autoflowering indica dominant hybrids. Leaves are fat (Indica) and some leaves have 3 fingers (Ruderalis).

Wishing you an abundant harvest!

All you experienced growers say the same thing, "don't over think it" and "let em be they're weeds" lol. I'm hoping to get this "over managing" out out my system soon bc it's just too damn much. Lol yes the babies are a indica dominant. I've learned a few things this time around, mistakes and mishaps = more knowledge especially when you have such a great community to lean on.. Thanks man
