The veins on my first set of true leaves appear yellowish near the stem. I circled the area in the picture below. I was thinking deficiency but I'm nowhere near a pro and don't want to do the wrong thing.

Emergency post!

Yesterday she was fine (first pic)
This morning started showing dots (second pic)
Now tonight it's worse (last pic)

This is not the plant from above but same strain and about a day or two younger.

Was never transplanted, did receive slightly higher nutes than the other for testing purposes...why not right, I'm learning. So I was wondering if it could be related to that. Also it receive more water in general so it could be that. Whatever it is it's hitting the older leaves first. One last thing, I sprayed a light mist of premixed neem oil on the soil surface as a preventative measure against fungus gnats, they don't like the smell and chemical in general. I have lemon trees and they had an issue with them so now I'm always taking precautionary steps. When I spayed the solution I accidentally hit those two leaves, so it could also be that as well. I appreciate any advice 💯 tell me where I f'd up!

soil is probably too hot for a tiny seedling.i allways get fucked up leaf at the start.somethimes the ph is off or the humidity but after a couple of leafs it stops being a problem.

Ok ill keep an eye on it, I've been ph'ing my water to 6-6.2. I haven't checked the soil since making the pot so I'll go ahead a check that to see how much it has changed, if any. I did just start pulling humidity down this week to try and get the plant to pull from the soil more, its at 60% RH. Her sister is 2 weeks and I'm dropping it mainly for her and I figured the 2 younger ones can take it.

I was thinking about it and was wondering if it could be a magnesium overload which is then causing a calcium deficiency.

My feedings have both in it but I am starting to think it's mag heavy and is blocking the cal

I think I might have found the issue and it is nute related. I am growing in buffered coco coir. Coco coir doesn't have any nutes in it really especially if it has been washed, which removes anything in the coco including the main things in it being phosphate and potassium. Burrering on the other hand "unlocks" the phosphate and potassium that was already bonded to the coco from its natural environment. Well the nutes I purchased weren't for coco specifically and has a large about of potassium and phosphate. The coco I have is buffered, so if it had a decent amount of residual phosphate and potassium in it, I just added a crap ton more. I think I just overloaded her on potassium. Resulting in reduced and odd growth, and possible lockout of other nutes. I think calcium...

What coco and nutes are you using and watering habbits? I like to buffer coco before using even if prebuffered for ease of mind. The cation exchange capacity of coco will want a steady supply of calmg throughout its growth or it will suck it from your plant (so ive been told, im no botanist)

It's foxfarm 70 30perlite mix, I think cultivation nation is the specific one. On the nutes ive been using rqs easy grow and the micro blend. I'm going to switch to canna coco I think. Wouldn't mind hearing your specific nutes brands/regimen

And I watered around 30/40mls at start and now do about .2 liters every 2/3 days

Ive been using General Hydroponics flora trio, along with some additional bottles, armorsi, diamond nectar and koolbloom in flower (using the coco for cannabis feed chart). Ive read a lot of people use canna a&b im sure you could find feed charts others have had success with.

Other than nutes, i would suggest treating coco like hydroponics more than soil. Drip to waste is the method i use for watering, multiple fertigation events a day, ranging depending on container size. 3gal i hand watered 2x a day, 2gal is 4x and 1gal 6x during lights on flowering. Always feed calmg, always water with nutes (near end of flower, ill let you decide yourself what to believe on flushing).

Here is the coco for cannabis feed chart, created my dr.mjcoco. i in no way created this info. I follow it mostly, i dont use h2o2 or water wetter and i add hydrogaurd when using a multi day resivoir.
2023 UPDATE CFC Nutes3

What size containers are you in? I start in 16oz nursery bags (keg cups size essentially) for the first 2 weeks. I do work my way up to the multiple feedings, for instance the nursery bags are maybes once every 36 hours for first couple days, once a day for a few and twice a day by end of 2 weeks. Plant into a 1gal from there and id do 1 a day watering for a week then 2 a day. Coco l, especially with a good ratio of perlite which your pic looks like, will hold enough air even when fully saturated with water. Tho, when roots arent established i let it dry a touch

5 gallon fabric pots, never transplanted them. Which I want to try differently next time and start in some solo cups or those bags. I'm starting to notice the challenges with watering in a overly large pot for a small plant. I like that schedule BTW, based on that I'm underwatering it seems.

Could I use some auto wicking pots for that instead of the drip irrigation?

Perfect time to ask, im 2 days away from grabbing some wicking pot. Going to start looking into the drip irrigation before I jump
