Yeah ya know I like these people and I want to help them and trust them but they have yet to give me a reason to trust them. I've known them for going on about 5 or 6 years now and I've had to kick them off my property once before for bringing drugs onto my fuckin ranch. So now y'all see why I am hesitant to trust them or anyone for that matter.

I really hope they shape up before shit hits the fan. They need to understand if they are not an asset they are a liability and I won't have liabilities on my ranch if/when the world goes to shit. Anyone looked at the news this morning? War is imminent. Iran just bombed the hell out of Israel and it's only the beginning.

Listen to me, folks. I've deployed twice and have a fairly extensive military background and connections. Shit is about to get real for everybody. I don't care who you are or what you believe, but NOW is the time to start thinking ahead and STOCK UP on food, water, and possibly anything you can get your hands on to defend yourself and your property.

I have never felt more justified in stating these things than I do right now. Ask any other veteran and they will tell you the same thing. We are about to reach a boiling point and it's everyone's personal responsibility to prepare. Nobody is going to save you and despite my snarky quote, the government is NOT here to help you!

im not a fan of talking about that particular conflict. The greater populace as a whole doesn't seem to realize that is a war that once kicked off, will not stop until one of the two sides is completely and totally exterminated.

Israel is also a nuclear state, and Iran has a breakout capability at about 2 weeks (the time it would take them to assemble a functional nuclear bomb from the resources they already have at their disposal)


thats all ima say though, War is always entirely a politics/religion fueled thing. That's really the only way wars happen outside resource scarcity.

I got to get some more of that stuff on my way home from work. I used half of what I had mixed with isopropyl alcohol to soak the straw mulch I’d been using for my seven gallon pots. Then I poured boiling water on top of it, and rinsed it off through a strainer and dried it in the grill for about an hour. Should be good and sterile now.

thats like a month worth of h202 for me lmfao. Tops

Mine comes out the tap at 650 ppm but I'm very blessed and lucky to have good things in my well water. Lots of iron, calcium and magnesium. pH is usually somewhere around 8. I only need cal-mag when I run my water through an RO system and use it for hydroponics. Using pro-mix though? Perfect water for it.

I was using hay from my cousin’s horse farm, but I ran out of it. The problem with that is that it wasn’t just straw. I’m sure it added some other types of seeds to my cover crop. If you go out and purchase barley straw from build a soil it’s ridiculously expensive like $42 a bag. I wonder if the stuff used for hamster and rabbit bedding would work?

my water comes out close to 9ph. tests high in lead, arsenic, and cobalt. High in sulfide gasses. and toxic to container plants levels of potassium and calcium. When it hasnt rained for a while its tested as high as 1050 ppm

If i dont precipitate the sulfides as sulfur, it makes me root zone go anaerobic immediately, even post-RO filter lol. This water straight up kills container bound plants


Its a well that wasnt dug down deep enough. Shits set in a damn coal/shale vein for sure.

i very consciously chose to not have kids myself.

At this point im very voluntarily celibate and intentionally unattached to other people. I try and totally avoid bringing new people into my life that i dont already care about personally. Im only 34 and keep myself quite healthy these days.. Its gonna get pretty dark long before i conk out pretty sure.

Going a bit cabin fever today. Taking a day off of trimming.


Cooked myself a tenderloin on roasted potatoes and some buttermilk drop biscuits before the loin goes bad. Byron's butt rub and herbs from the gardens. That corn tastes like the can, older then I thought. we'll just pretend it never happened lol.
