Looking for opinions on adding only red led lights

So wondering about adding a red/blue grow light in the tent with my ViparSpectra p2000 full spectrum led for my autos. Will this enhance flower production and thus yield? Do I also need it on a timer for lights out? What's everyone's thoughts? I attached a photo of the light in question.

I would use them as side lights when the plants stop stretching and the buds start to grow, gives them a boot when the plants need them, I would turn them on for a good 12 hours a day( 4 weeks)
With the main led on 20/4
This would give the plant extra light in the canopy(3 corners vertical) which will increase the crop size without using too much electric( good balance)

Thinking back, I think this was a reply to growing auto's(main light on 20 hours, off 4 hours) , giving them extra light at the right time will increase the crop size(more bud sites)
